Xidian Town is backed by mountains and faces the sea, with rich tourism resources and convenient transportation. It is adjacent to Nanxi Hot Spring, one of the three largest natural hot springs in the country. Xidian has natural seaside scenery and the beautiful Shuangshan Island. The ancient legendary Tongpan Mountain, the ingenious Huangfeng Temple, as well as the thousand-year-old Langfengli, Xiangyan Mountain, Guangde Temple, Chiang Kai-shek's seaside, the ancient stage of Chongxing Temple and other places of interest and historical relics.

Ninghai Guangde Temple is located in the southeast of Xiangyan Mountain, Xidian Town, Ninghai County. It was built in the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty. Because its geographical shape resembles a "lotus on the water", it is a treasured place for practicing Buddhism. The Feng Shui pattern is "jade belt wrapped around the waist", which is very special. The architecture of Guangde Temple has distinctive characteristics compared with other temples. The layout and design of the temple can be said to be unique. Its exquisite layout reflects humanistic harmony and unique Buddhist connotations.

The Gesha Temple on the island was built in the 14th year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1834). It was destroyed by the Taiwan disaster in 1956 and later rebuilt. There used to be ancient pines leaning sideways on the side of the temple, but now they have disappeared.

Tongpan Mountain is not only a famous tourist mountain, but also the place where the story of Ninghai’s classic play "Golden Lotus Kills the Jiao" takes place. Xidian Caishen Mountain is a national hiking trail.

The representative monuments of Xidian are as follows

1. Xiangyan Mountain is the retreat place of Liu Tan (also known as Uncle Yun), a famous scholar in the Southern Song Dynasty. The "Langfeng Yin Chamber" was built, which was later renamed "Langfeng Temple" and is now in existence.

2. Paimenshu Village is the hometown of Shu Yuexiang, a famous scholar in the Song Dynasty. At the head of Lingkou Village there is the "Langfeng Bridge" built in the Bingxu year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty.

3. Tongpan Mountain has cliff carvings from the Song Dynasty.

6. On the rocks on Shiping Mountain behind Zhangshu Village, there are cliff stone carvings by Hala Hansai (Xuanwei envoy to eastern Zhejiang in the Yuan Dynasty). The poem goes: "Thousands of rocks have been sheltered from moss, and today Shipan layman has come." The floating clouds are washed away and you can sit down for a banquet, but you don’t want to be alone on the rooftop.” There is a postscript after the poem, which can still be identified.

7. There is Chief Chen Temple in Xidian Village. Originally there were two front and back entrances, but now there are five front halls in the village, still retaining the architectural features of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

8. Gao Ming (zi Zecheng), the author of Yuan Dynasty song "Pipa Ji", died in Zhangshu Village in the town. Wang Guowei's "History of Opera in the Song and Yuan Dynasties" records that "(Zecheng) stayed with the Shen family in Yinlishe and entertained himself with lyrics and music. When Taizu of the Ming Dynasty heard of his name, he summoned him and returned home because of his old illness and died in Ninghai."
