I. Trestle
The trestle bridge is located in the southern seashore of downtown Qingdao. It is a 440-meter-long sea corridor, extending from land to sea. Boarding the Huilan Pavilion at the end of the trestle, you can have a panoramic view of the sea.
Trestle used to be the earliest military-specific artificial wharf in Qingdao. The trestle bridge faces the small Qingdao across the sea, and the northern end is connected with Zhongshan Road Commercial Street in a straight line. At the end of the trestle is a triangular breakwater, here is an octagonal pavilion with national style, named Huilan Pavilion. There is a wordless monument in Huilan Pavilion.
