Can I bring cosmetics when traveling abroad?

Knives can't be carried with you, so they must be checked. Liquid, gel and spray items include:

Drinks, such as mineral water, beverages, soups and syrups;

Cream, skin care liquid, skin care oil, perfume, cosmetics;

Spray and compression containers, such as shaving foam and perfume spray;

Pasty items, such as toothpaste;

Contact lens potion;

Gels, such as gel products for hair styling and bathing;

Any solutions and articles with similar consistency.

Domestic flights can carry liquid articles with a total amount of no more than 1 liter per person at a time, and can only be carried after opening the bottle for inspection and confirmation. The excess must be delivered. Alcohol must be checked.

For international and regional flights originating from airports in China, such articles must be placed in containers with a capacity of no more than 100 ml and in transparent plastic bags with a capacity of no more than 1 liter, which can be repeatedly sealed. Each passenger is allowed to carry only one transparent plastic bag at a time, and the excess should be delivered.

Transparent plastic bags containing liquid items should be inspected separately.

In the controlled area, there is free drinking water for passengers to drink, and you can also buy water or other drinks in shops. Airlines will also provide drinking water on the plane.

The plastic bag recommended by CAAC is a transparent plastic bag, the specification is 20cm x 20cm, the capacity is one liter, and it can be resealed.

It can usually be found in supermarkets and household goods stores. If passengers don't bring this plastic bag to the airport, the airport will provide it to international outbound passengers, and each passenger can only get one.

There is no limit to the number of containers, but the capacity of each container should not exceed 100 ml, which can be completely put into a plastic bag with a capacity of one liter without crowding. Generally speaking, a one-liter plastic bag can hold five containers with a capacity of 100 ml.

Liquid, gel and spray drugs (including traditional Chinese medicine) can be exempted if they are accompanied by a doctor's prescription or a hospital certificate. The amount of medicine depends on the needs of passengers on the plane. No containers and plastic bags are needed. Drugs should be handed over to security personnel separately for X-ray examination. Security personnel will ask passengers to show their doctor's certificate or prescription.

If the liquid medicine is packed in a container with a capacity of no more than 100 ml and placed in a transparent plastic bag with a capacity of no more than one liter, it can pass the safety inspection.

As long as the capacity of the container does not exceed 100 ml, it can be used to hold liquid, gel and spray articles.

If the capacity of liquid container exceeds 100 ml, it should not be put in hand luggage, but should be checked in checked luggage.

Passengers can put several pairs of contact lenses in their hand luggage, but because contact lenses are usually packed in a certain volume of liquid, they must all be put into a plastic bag with a capacity of one liter.

Passengers can carry any solid cosmetics on board, so ordinary lipstick and body lotion are also acceptable. Passengers can also carry perfume spray, perfume cream, bead perfume and lip gloss, but the container capacity shall not exceed 100 ml. These containers must be stored in plastic bags with a capacity of one liter. Containers with excessive capacity must be inspected.
