Private. Jishou University Zhangjiajie College is located in Zhangjiajie, an internationally renowned tourist city. It was established with the approval of the Hunan Provincial People's Government, organized by Jishou University, a comprehensive university in Hunan Province, and an independent college confirmed by the Ministry of Education. It was converted into an independent ordinary undergraduate higher education institution and is privately run. The college was founded in September 2002.
