If you travel just to take pictures

For such a long time, I found a common phenomenon: after countless people poured into the scenic spot, they just took pictures with their mobile phones or selfie sticks. Seeing this scene, I feel really sad. I don't know how the original sentimental journey became like this. Do we spend time, money and energy just to take pictures?

When I was in college, all the trees on campus were in bloom. Many students passing by would take pictures and adjust their positions and angles repeatedly. Even the mobile phones were close to the flowers. Walking in the street, I often see pedestrians stop to take pictures of trees, which always makes me very lost and speechless.

Have we really thought about: what is the purpose of traveling, and should we communicate with nature in such a simple and rude way? How long has it been since you observed a flower or a tree carefully? I recorded a rough image in my mobile phone, and then posted these cold pictures online to prove where I have been. Many people only think about how to look better when taking pictures, but they never think that nature is the essence of things and never appreciate a beautiful place in detail. So what can you get in the end?

We really need to communicate with nature. No matter where I travel these years, I don't take pictures. Because you know, when I face the beautiful scenery with a childlike innocence, I am completely intoxicated with it, as if I were in a dream. I just greedily scrutinized and pondered what words to use to describe this moment.

Therefore, I sincerely hope that everyone will put away their mobile phones when playing, try to appreciate nature with their souls and real eyes, feel the wonder of nature with their hearts, present beautiful scenery with words, and add their own thoughts to it. I don't want that beautiful scenery to eventually become a photo, just for leisure and entertainment. It is only that moment that really affects a person, because you are likely to be hit by an idea at once and then change your life trajectory. Seeing some scenery that will be related to your own situation during your trip often makes you feel suddenly enlightened. When we stop deliberately showing or chasing anything, the problems in life will be solved.

The following are my thoughts after visiting the West Lake two years ago. Let's call it modern poetry.

that summer

I have nothing.

Walking alone on the streets of Hangzhou

Except for the zits on the face and self-righteous youth.

Although these will not last.

Therefore, traveling should be a kind of practice worthy of before traveling.
