B 1 The difference between visa and b2 visa

B 1 is a business visa and B2 is a tourist visa.

B2 visa is the most applied visa type in the United States every year, which belongs to B visa. The U.S. government often issues B2 visa and B 1 visa at the same time, both of which are temporary non-immigrant visas and can visit the United States in a short time. The main difference between B 1 and B2 visa is that,

Visa B 1 is issued to applicants who go to the United States for short-term business activities, including signing contracts through negotiation, attending exhibitions or conferences, short-term training or negotiating business with suppliers or customers. B2 visas are issued to applicants who travel to the United States, including sightseeing, visiting relatives and friends and medical treatment. Holders of B 1 and B2 visas cannot work in the United States.

To apply for a B2 visa in the United States, you must first prepare the following materials:

1. Printed reservation form and DS- 160 confirmation page.

2. Passport (valid for at least 9 months, the last page must be signed by the guest, and the passport has at least 2 blank pages for visa use; If you have an old passport, you must provide it all. )

3. One 5 1*5 1mm color photo with white background and its electronic version within half a year.

4. Copy of the front and back of the ID card, the whole household registration book of the applicant, and a copy of the marriage certificate (if married).

5. Original records of bank running accounts within half a year (don't suddenly deposit a large sum of money at the end, whether it is a fixed deposit or a current passbook, the more deposits, the better)

6. Other economic information: copies of real estate licenses, vehicle property rights, stocks, funds and other securities.

7. The itinerary of this trip and/or other explanations about the travel plan.

8. A copy of the unit's employment certificate and business license shall be stamped with the official seal.

B2 visa application process:

1. Fill in the electronic visa application form online (DS- 160).

2. Pay the visa application fee and make an appointment for an interview. To make an appointment for an interview, you need to provide the following three pieces of information:

Passport number.

-The number on the visa application payment receipt.

-DS-DS- 160 Ten-digit barcode number on the confirmation page.

Please come to the American embassy or consulate general for an interview at the appointed time.

How to improve the pass rate when applying for B2 visa? You need to pay attention to the following points.

1. The visa officer noticed your immigration tendency during the interview. In other words, the binding force of your return to China is not enough, you don't have enough economic strength at home, or your social and economic ties with the motherland are not close enough.

2. There is not enough money to go to the United States this time, and the balance in the bank is small, and the remaining balance is not enough to support the whole trip. Or suddenly deposit a large sum of money in your account before applying for a visa, which will also make the visa officer doubt your financial strength. The US Embassy did not specify how much deposit is needed to apply for a visa to visit relatives in the United States, but we suggest that the more the better. And applying for a visa to visit relatives in the United States requires sufficient funds to pay all the expenses during your stay in the United States.

3. The plan of visiting relatives or traveling is not accurate enough. You can start with a specific plan and talk about where you are going and who you are meeting. At this time, the place of stay and the round-trip air ticket can add more persuasiveness to your explanation.

4. The information submitted is not perfect, which is the most common reason for being refused a visa. Therefore, everyone must be careful when preparing the materials to avoid omissions, which will lead to the refusal of visas due to insufficient visa materials.
