Gufengzhou (the former site of Fengxian County 50 years ago) is located in the hinterland of Qinling Mountains, in the delta where Jialing River and Anhe River meet, and in the center of Fengxian County. It's 90km away from Baoji City and Shuangshipu 1 1 km away from the county seat. Baoji-chengdu railway and Sichuan-Shaanxi highways pass through the territory with convenient transportation. Gu Feng area is located at the boundary between subtropical zone and temperate zone, and belongs to semi-humid mountainous climate, with an altitude of 905 meters to 2739 meters, with obvious vertical distribution. With large temperature difference between day and night, no severe cold in winter, no intense heat in summer, beautiful scenery and pleasant climate, it is a good place for leisure and entertainment in summer. Gufeng House, with a long history and outstanding people, has been renamed as Liang Quan County, Hechi County, Nanqi House and Fengzhou after more than 2,000 years. In the seventh year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1374), the county was reduced to one. By June of 195 1, the county had been the political, economic and cultural center of Fengxian until it moved to Shuangshipu.

Douji Mountain is located on the north bank of Jialing River in Gu Feng. It is made of rocks, named Douji Mountain, which is the sister mountain of Maiji Mountain in Tianshui. There are monkey stones in Shandong, pot stones on the mountainside, a cave and a disaster reduction temple on the top of the mountain, which are famous scenic spots in ancient Fengzhou.

Zhang Dong is built between steep rocks on the mountainside, which is very dangerous. According to legend, Zhang Zeng, a man in the Tang Dynasty, chiseled a stone into a cave to practice. After the Tang Dynasty, people built a temple named Zhang in the original cave, which contained Guanyin, eighteen arhats, Zhang and other statues, and built an iron chess pavilion with 32 iron chess pieces, which was one of the eight majestic sights.

Disaster reduction temple is located at the top of Jidu Mountain. In the Ming Dynasty, a temple was built here, initially named "Xiaotai Temple" and later changed to Disaster Mitigation Temple. In the past, there was an iron clock in the temple. Every morning, monks ring bells to worship Buddha, and the bells are melodious, covering the whole Fengzhou City. Travelers use bells as a signal to start their journey. "Xiao Temple Morning Bell" is one of the eight scenic spots in Fengxian County. Disaster reduction temple was destroyed in the Cultural Revolution. In recent years, villagers in Fengzhou have raised funds for reconstruction, built halls and monasteries, and carved statues, beams and paintings, which are spectacular and become a good place for people to climb mountains and travel.
