Mianchi County belongs to Sanmenxia City, Henan Province, where Yangshao Grand Canyon is located. The canyon is more than 50 kilometers long, with a total area of 56 square kilometers, and there are more than 500 natural and human landscapes. Six scenic spots, Xianxia, Shengui Gorge, Longhu Gorge, Dengjin Gorge, Guoyang Gorge and Hanging Coffin Valley, have been initially identified. Yangshao Grand Canyon is characterized by danger, strangeness, seclusion and luxury, and is deeply favored by tourists.

Yangshao culture developed from Peiligang culture, magnetic mountain culture and other early Neolithic cultures. Clan tribes from all over the country have established large and small tribes on valley terraces and lived a relatively stable life. Exquisite painted pottery is a major feature of Yangshao culture. Daimei Mountain Scenic Area, Wufeng Mountain Scenic Area and Danxia Scenic Area of the Yellow River reflect the beautiful natural scenery here.

The topography and geology of Mianchi section of Nanyan Highway is very complicated. It faces the Yellow River natural moat in the north and is connected with Yuanqu in Shanxi. Shaoshan barrier in South Vietnam spans 3 10 National Road, Longhai Railway and Yiyang County, with a total length of 63.6 kilometers. Southern Yan Road is 20 kilometers along the stream line from the starting point to Shifengyu. Jiankou River is a dog's tooth bank. Gullies are developed on both sides. Shankou and terraces alternate with each other, with bare rocks and steep slopes.

Mianchi county has a long history

It is one of the birthplaces of the Chinese nation. According to the physical remains of Yangshao culture in this county, there were ancient human activities in the Neolithic Age more than 5,000 years ago. The world-famous Yangshao culture was first discovered by Swedish scholar An Tesheng in Yangshao Village, Mianchi.

It has been more than two thousand years since the Qin Dynasty, leaving many places of interest. 1925, Mianchi County began to have the activities of the CPC Central Committee. Mianchi once built the Eighth Route Army station, ran the public school in western Henan, and the Shangguan Ziping uprising (the main body of the "Western Henan Incident") and the Ma Paoquan incident. The county seat was liberated three times, and many revolutionary martyrs were buried here, leaving many revolutionary sites and memorial sites in the territory.
