What kinds of customs are there?

According to the existing forms and manifestations of folk resources, they can be divided into three types.

The first category. Material folk tourism resources. This kind of folk tourism resources can be divided into three categories:

(1) Production folklore, including gathering folklore, hunting folklore, animal husbandry folklore, farming folklore, handicraft folklore, etc.

(2) Consumer folklore, including costume folklore, diet folklore and residence folklore.

(3) Circulation folklore, including urban businessman folklore, traffic folklore, communication folklore, etc.

The second category. Social folk tourism resources. This kind of folk tourism resources can also be divided into five subcategories:

(1) Family folklore, including appellation folklore, ranking folklore, kinship folklore, property inheritance folklore, etc.

(2) Village folk customs, including market folk customs, village rules folk customs, village community folk customs, etc.

(3) Folk customs of non-governmental organizations, including guild customs, community customs and gang customs.

(4) Etiquette and folk customs, including birth customs, adult customs, wedding customs, birthday customs, funeral customs, etc.

(5) Folk customs of festivals under five years old, including traditional festivals, Gregorian calendar festivals, religious festivals, 24 solar terms, etc.

The third category is spiritual folk tourism resources. This kind of folk tourism resources can also be divided into four subcategories:

(1) Worship custom beliefs, including folk religious beliefs, witchcraft astrology, etiquette taboos, etc.

(2) Oral language folklore, including folk myths, folklore, folk stories, folk songs, folk narrative poems, proverbs, dialect slang, etc.

(3) Folk arts and customs, including folk music, folk fine arts, folk crafts, folk operas, folk dances, etc.

(4) Folk games, including folk games, folk sports competitions and folk acrobatics.
