Huanglong County is one of the eight major shelterbelt areas in China and one of the five major forest areas in Shaanxi Province. The following is an introduction to the tourist attractions in Huanglong County that I have compiled for you. Welcome to reading.

Huanglong Xiaosizhuang Grottoes

Key cultural relics protection units in Shaanxi Province. Located in a small temple village at the foot of Dongshan Mountain, 35 kilometers north of Huanglong County, southeast of Yan 'an City. Also known as Shengshou Temple Grottoes.

It is 2.6 meters high, 2.7 meters wide and 3.5 meters deep. It is carved with a Buddha, two disciples, two threatened bodhisattvas, two heavenly kings and two patron saints, and nine stone carvings. In the middle of the altar is Sakyamuni Buddha, sitting on a waist-shaped lotus-leaning sumeru. The Buddha was topless, wearing a shoulder-length coat and his hands were sealed. On the back is a high relief flame backlight, with one Buddha and two disciples carved on it and one into the sky under it. On both sides of the Buddha, Ye Jia, Ananda, Bodhisattva, Heavenly King and Patron Saint should be erected, and the two sides under the altar base should be separated. There are a pair of stone lions and an incense burner carved in front of the seat. There is a statue of Maitreya Buddha on the west side outside the cave gate, and there is an inscription on the east wall, which reads "Three Years of Xianping". According to this, the cave was dug in the early Northern Song Dynasty.

Jiangjunmiao

Jiangjun Temple is located in Jiagou, administrative village of Shike. It is said that Xue Dingshan, a famous scholar in the Tang Dynasty, died here when he came back from the Western Regions and was buried in Jujiagou, which is about 1 km away from the highway. In order to commemorate this general, the people built a general temple in Jujiagou for future generations to worship. Later, Panlong Temple was built at the mouth of the ditch to protect the flood and drought disasters in this area. Although the temple was destroyed, the remains still exist.

Shaijingshan

Sun Jingshan is located in the north of White Township Government, overlooking the office building of the township government. The mountain is steep and the peak goes straight into the sky. The top of the mountain is 4 kilometers away from the foot of the mountain. According to legend, Tang Priest got his name after he returned from the Western Heaven and basked in the scriptures on the mountain. On the top of the mountain, there are still caves for drying sutras and the Monkey King's golden hoop.

Boot cliff

About 2-3 kilometers to the west of Honghuadian, there is a huge footprint about 1.5 meters long and 80 centimeters wide under the steep stone wall, which is called Xuezi Cliff here.

According to legend, Yang Liulang, a famous soldier in the Northern Song Dynasty, led his troops through this place and was blocked by mountains. Yang Liulang pushed the mountain with his feet and carried out a path for the troops to pass, leaving this huge footprint at the foot of the mountain.
