Chapter I General Provisions Article 1 In order to speed up the renovation and construction of tourist toilets in the city, standardize the management and service of tourist toilets, and comprehensively improve the quality and civilization of tourist services in our city, these measures are formulated in accordance with relevant laws and regulations and combined with the actual situation of this city. Article 2 These Measures shall apply to the planning, construction, maintenance and management of tourist toilets within this Municipality. Article 3 The term "tourist toilets" as mentioned in these Measures refers to places built in urban tourist attractions, tourist routes, transportation distribution points, rural tourist spots, tourist hotels, tourist entertainment places, tourist blocks and other tourist reception places, which mainly provide toilet services for tourists. Article 4 The tourist toilets invested by the government shall be guided, managed and supervised by the construction department in accordance with the principle that whoever builds them shall supervise them.

The tourist toilets built by enterprises are managed and maintained by their business entities, and the administrative department in charge of the industry is responsible for guidance and supervision.
