According to China Tourism Information Network, the Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar, which was completed on June 26th, 2003, is the world's largest grand Bazaar (which means bazaar and farmers' market in Uighur) integrating Islamic culture, architecture, ethnic trade, entertainment and catering. It is also the gathering place and exhibition center of tourism products in Xinjiang, the "window to Xinjiang", "window to Central Asia" and "window to the world". It has a strong Islamic architectural style, reproduces the prosperity of the ancient Silk Road on the basis of covering functionality and a sense of the times, and embodies the rich ethnic characteristics and regional culture of the western regions. Xinjiang International Grand Bazaar is open all year round: Monday to Sunday from 00: 00 to 24: 00. However, the opening date of Yili Palace Market is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm.
