I plan to spend a few days in Hailuogou during the summer vacation. What are the interesting places in Hailuogou?

Hailuogou is a national 4A scenic spot, located in Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Hailuogou is famous for its large-scale low-altitude modern glaciers. The glacier is 14.7 kilometers long, 6 kilometers into the forest, and its lowest point is 285 meters above sea level. How can such a mysterious place not make us yearn for it? So after my visit, I specially wrote this self-driving travel guide for Hailuogou to provide some information and help for friends who also want to drive Hailuogou.

Introduction: Hailuogou Glacier is a solid silver world, and its creators have created ice caves, ice mushrooms, ice pagodas and ice cracks. Because the glacier extends into the virgin forest from below the black pine forest, it is 6KM long, so it is also called "green glacier". On the glacier, your hands are not cold and your feet are not stiff. You can roam this mysterious silver world by floating gravel on the ice.

Features: Hailuogou is also the "hometown of hot springs". The water temperature is 4-6℃, and visitors can take a hot spring bath in the small dock here. The average annual temperature in Hailuogou is 1-15℃, and the lowest temperature in winter is-2-5℃, which is known as "four seasons in a day, different days in ten miles". Hailuogou Xuecheng Hot Spring is a large-flow hot mineral spring with a daily flow of 8,9 tons. The hot springs are located at 26M, 19M and 15M above sea level, respectively, and the highest temperature at the outlet is 92 degrees.

equipment: it is better to wear hiking shoes, sunglasses, sun hats and kettles because the glacier is slippery. It is still cold in the morning and evening in summer, so you must wear a windproof coat. Please be prepared for cold in other seasons. It is best to prepare dry food and instant noodles for one day, and it is best to bring instant rice (boiled water is available in hotels on the mountain), beef jerky, chocolate, ham sausage, mustard tuber, milk and so on. Because the food on the mountain is very expensive, a plate of fried pork slices 16 yuan and a bowl of vegetable soup 8 yuan.

transportation route: this is the key point I want to introduce. There are two highways to Hailuogou, National Highway 318 and National Highway 18, which are in good condition. Here are three kinds of tourist routes to Hailuogou to choose from.

Line 1: From Chengdu via Chengya Expressway (via Shuangliu, Xinjin, Qionglai, Mingshan and Ya 'an), crossing Tianquan and crossing Erlangshan Tunnel to Hailuogou Scenic Area, with a total length of about 28 kilometers and a journey of about 6-8 hours;

Line 2: From Chengdu via Chengya Expressway (via Shuangliu, Xinjin, Qionglai, Mingshan and Ya 'an), over mud mountain, and across Hanyuan and Shimian counties, with a total length of 468 kilometers, it takes about 12 hours to reach Hailuogou Scenic Area;

Route 3: From Chengdu via Dujiangyan, Wolong Nature Reserve, Xiaojin County, Danba County and Luding County, it takes two days to reach Hailuogou, with a total length of 75 kilometers. The advantage is that you can visit Siguniang Mountain first, pass Xiaojin County, and go down the Xiaojin River to Danba County to enjoy the watchtowers, Tibetan villages and Murdo Mountain in Danba County, and of course, the famous Danba beauty in China.
