Xiguan Hotel is located on the bank of Songhua River in Jilin City. It was built in 1923 and was originally the villa of Zhang Zuoxiang, the governor of Jilin and governor of Jilin. After 1949, it was converted into a guest house for senior cadres of Jilin Province, and later into Xiguan Hotel, where senior foreign guests and national leaders stayed. After renovations in 1993 and 2002, it became a comprehensive hotel integrating tourism, conferences, entertainment and leisure. The hotel has 159 rooms and suites.
