Tour by bicycle to Shaoxing from Shanghai

Because you are riding a bike, not a car, we have specially selected a scenic route for you.

Starting from Xinzhuang, go 18 kilometers west on Xinsong Highway to Sheshan

Then, 15 kilometers west on Shenzhuan Highway via Tianma Mountain to Shenxiang

Turn left Go 5 kilometers south on the Zhufeng Highway and cross the Zhanglugang Bridge to the Taipu River

Turn right and go 8 kilometers west on the north bank of the Taipu River. Pass a temporary checkpoint and there is a small bridge across the Taipu River

Cross it. The bridge enters the border of Zhejiang Province and goes straight 4 kilometers south to reach Dingzha

Turn right in the center of Dingzha Town 7 kilometers west to Dashun

Follow the natural road and turn left to the south 3 kilometers to Xitang Town

There is a unique covered bridge at the end of this road. After crossing the bridge, there is a T-junction. Turn left and there is another small bridge.

After crossing the bridge, there is a very narrow alley on the left. Passing through this alley, you will directly enter Xitang Ancient Town.

You don’t need to buy a ticket to enter Xitang from this location.
