Where is Guan Gong's tourist attraction?
There are three remains of Guan Gong: Jiezhou Guandi Temple, Changping Family Temple and Guandi Zu, now referred to as "Three Passes".
Jiezhou Guandi Temple, 20 kilometers away from Yuncheng, is the first and largest of the three customs. It is said that after Guan Gong's death, his head was in Guanling, his body was in Dangyang, and his soul returned to his hometown. Guan Yu didn't worship until Xiezhou, which was not a real sacrifice. Because Guan Gong is honored as the emperor, the architecture in Xiezhou Temple area is similar to a miniature palace and follows the pattern of "sleeping from front to back". The Jieyi Garden outside the temple has only been expanded in recent years, and it is separated from the road outside by a wall.
Jieyi Garden used to be Liu Bei's palace, because it was built in the south of Guan Temple, which violated the patriarchal clan system. Later generations changed it to Jieyi Garden, where there are many peach trees and running water. It's a pity that it was midsummer when I went, and the peach blossom had withered, which made me lose the momentum of worshipping heaven and earth.
The wall connecting the palace gate of Guandi Temple is about several meters high, towering into the sky and with a mouth like a forest. The left and right bell towers and drum towers are far apart. If the drums are thunderous, how heroic it is to raise a knife at the gate immediately. People often compare this with the Forbidden City, which will increase the nobility of the royal family and reduce the heroic spirit. In the old days, the doors were closed and wooden boards were set up on the steps on both sides. This is a complete ancient stage. It is said that there was once a man named Mi Xizi who was good at performing Guan Gong's plays. When he played, he only raised his eyebrows and drank a big bowl of wine, and his face turned red. Nowadays, heavy colors are used in the play. Although it looks good, it has lost its natural foundation.
Changping Family Temple is located in the southwest of Yuncheng City, 9 kilometers away from Jiezhou Guandi Temple, and is the former residence of Guan Gong. The architectural pattern is similar to that of Jiezhou Guandi Temple, but the pattern is smaller. Although the temple is small, every stone and brick has a story, and every tree has a legend. It is more interesting to find a stone and ask wood.
There is a dragon, tiger and cypress in front of Chongning Temple, which is over 800 years old/kloc-0. On the left, the dragon and cypress are towering, with two dead branches, towering like a dragon horn, while the trunk is as high as a dragon's body, moving in the wind and riding in the clouds. Tiger and cypress on the right, there are convex trees on the ground, such as tiger's eyes and Tiger Claw's roots, lifelike and leaping like dragons and tigers. When the temple was built a few years ago, a big branch of the tiger cypress was in the way, but it was sawed. According to legend, the wind blew for three days and nights, and the blood dripping from the fracture added a sense of mystery. There is a local custom that newborn males are fostered in Longbai and females in Hu Bai, and the tree is circled three times with red circles. Now the red line on the tree is wrapped like an apron, adding more ancient meaning. Ancient buildings are profound and difficult to understand, and the legends of these trees are more memorable than those that ordinary people can explain in detail.
