Introduction of Lion Pass Scenic Area

Shiziguan Tourist Area in Xuanen County, Hubei Province is located in Xuanen County, Enshi Prefecture, Hubei Province. The whole scenic spot is surrounded by three canyons, in which caves, pictographs, waterfalls and other scenic spots are all over the place. The mountains here are magnificent, with five stone mountains, large and small, and the mountains are jagged. Two of them, like lions, guard the main road leading to Changtan River, hence the name Lion Pass.

Scenic spots are divided into dry canyon sightseeing belt and water canyon sightseeing belt, also known as "Yuanyang Gorge" and "Xiongnu Gorge". There are dozens of tourist attractions such as Dream Bridge, Monkey Water Village, Lion Roar Waterfall, Lion Mouth, Golden Cat Entrance, Lion Guard, First Eye, Lion Roar Rock and Tiankeng Waterfall, which naturally complement each other and make people intoxicated.

Shizikou

Because there is a gap in the middle of the cliff, it is called the lion's mouth. It looked like a roaring lion when you walked in here.

Bridges of Madison county

The lion pass floating bridge is 400 meters long and 4.5 meters wide, which can accommodate 10000 people to walk on it at the same time. Visitors can walk on the pontoon bridge, see the green hills and butterflies in the mountains on both sides, or overlook the lake and the sky.

With the approval of the county epidemic prevention and control headquarters, Lion Pass Scenic Area has resumed business since April 1 day, 2020. The daily opening time is 8: 00- 18: 30 (closing time is 17: 30). In order to ensure the safety of tourists, the scenic spot will be restricted from opening to the outside world.
