Traveling can make you more experienced. How do American students make travel strategies?
1. Set the target. First of all, you need to outline what your travel goals are and how they adapt to your hometown life. If you are still in high school or college, then travel may be limited to holidays or study exchange programs, while people who work may only leave during the annual leave. If a few weeks' vacation is not enough, then maybe you can consider starting a real exploration from the gap year between study and work. Some employers will be happy to give you unpaid leave, while in other cases, you may have to resign completely. It all comes down to weighing what is really important to you and the bite intensity of traveling insects.
2. Study your "The Bucket List" destination. The most enjoyable part of the trip is to study your adventure, and the best part is not to spend a penny! So, if your travel mistakes hit you hard, please don't despair. Go to your local library, satisfy your wishes through travel books, or read a blog about your dream destination online. Research will help you plan your next adventure, provide you with many insightful suggestions and may save you a few dollars at the same time.
3. Make a savings plan. Once you plan when and where to go, it's time to start saving money. Work out how much you think you need, and then add a little to your budget just in case. Traveling doesn't have to be expensive. The more times you travel, the more you will find ways to save money. A savings plan to satisfy the desire to travel may mean making sacrifices. Maybe you can't eat out as before, or you need to watch movies at home instead of spending a lot of money in the cinema. Ask yourself whether you really need to buy that new shirt, or whether you can curb your coffee addiction in the foreseeable future. Saving money for a trip doesn't mean you have to stop living. You will think of many ways to have fun without losing everything. Just keep reminding yourself why you want to do this, and finally get the reward of the trip.
4. Go to a cheap destination or a nearby destination. If your financial resources are limited, you may not be able to have an all-inclusive luxury water bungalow holiday in Maldives. But there are many other more affordable destinations that can still provide incredible travel experiences. Backpack across Southeast Asia, explore the cultural wealth of Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam, or take a land trip to South Africa and East Africa. Get a working holiday visa in Australia or New Zealand, so that you can make money while traveling, or buy tickets for Eurail European Railway to shuttle between hotels on all continents. If money is really limited, meet your travel mistake in your backyard and find a new destination that you may not have noticed. Camping and hiking in national parks, spending a long weekend in an iconic city, or volunteering for a project that gives you the opportunity to travel between States. There are many different forms and forms of travel, and sometimes you only need a little creativity to find inspiration.
