Tongluozhai (National AAAA Scenic Spot) is located in tongluozhai Village, Shangtu Town, southwest of Huoshan County, Lu 'an City, Anhui Province, in the hinterland of Dabie Mountain, 68 kilometers away from the county seat. Provincial highways 3 18 and 209 pass through the territory, with a total area of 92 square kilometers and the elevation of the main peak 1096 meters.

Tongluozhai was named after Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty visited Hengshan County (now Huoshan County) in 122 BC and dreamed of a bright moon.
