Summer and autumn are the best, and skiing can be done in winter. Changbai Mountain belongs to temperate continental mountainous climate, with long and cold winters, short and cool summers, changeable weather, windy spring and foggy autumn.

Matters needing attention

1. Don't take an umbrella when you go to Changbai Mountain in summer, because it's easy to attract thunder in high mountain areas (there have been cases where you were killed by lightning when you took an umbrella), and it's difficult to catch an umbrella because of the strong wind on the mountain.

It is recommended to use disposable raincoats. 5 yuan is the only place to buy Erdaobaihe Town, and 10 yuan is the scenic spot. Raincoats bought in the rain are often sold in 20 yuan.
