1. Gulangyu Island
(1). Shuzhuang Garden: Lin Erjia borrowed the mountains to hide the sea, and hid the sea privately in her own garden. It is majestic, exquisite and elegant, and is worth At first glance, you can see a zigzag stone bridge winding in the courtyard and extending into the sea. When the tide is high, the footbridge seems to be riding on the blue waves, which is very poetic and picturesque. In the Shuzhuang Garden, the patriotic Lin Erjia spoke for the rights and interests of the Chinese people in fluent foreign languages ??with the momentum of embracing the mountains and the sea, to the soft sound of the piano. China's only "Piano Museum" and the Folk Furniture Museum are also built in the courtyard.
(2) Sunlight Rock: The first place to see the sun on Gulangyu Island. A huge rock with a diameter of more than 40 meters stands in the sky, also known as Huangyan. It was the place where Zheng Chenggong stationed his troops. There are Sunlight Rock Cinema, Aviary Garden, Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall, Lotus Temple, Shui Cao Terrace and other attractions. There is a "Nostalgic Gulangyu" museum on Huangyan Road (No. 38) on the way to Sunlight Rock, which collects many old objects from Gulangyu. If you are interested, you can go in and feel nostalgic and let your thoughts wander.
(3). Haoyue Garden: "I can't sleep thinking of you, the bright moon shines through the plain curtains." When you get out of the ferry, you can see the 15.7-meter-high white statue of Zheng Chenggong on the mountain on the left, facing the sea to the east. That is Haoyue Garden. Under the statue, with the cool breeze and sea waves, and the fine sand chasing the waves, it is a romantic place for a walk in the morning and evening.
(4) Underwater World: After landing the ferry, turn right and you can see a bronze sculpture of a giant octopus. That is the entrance to the Underwater World. However, it seems that all the Underwater Worlds across the country are similar. There is one here The world's largest sperm whale specimen was captured from the waters of Xiamen. Friends who are interested and have never been to Sea World can take a look.

2. Nanputuo Temple
The temple was first named Puzhao Temple, later renamed Sizhou Yuan, and renamed Putuo Temple in the Song Dynasty. Because the temple is one of the main dojos of Guanyin Bodhisattva and is located to the south of Putuo Mountain in Zhejiang, a famous Buddhist mountain in my country, it is called Nanputuo Temple. Incense is very popular here. Every year on February 19th, June 19th, and September 19th of the lunar calendar, when Guanyin is born, grand activities are held in the temple. Many devotees hold burning incense, kowtow and pray for health and wealth. From behind the temple, you can climb to the top of the mountain and overlook the Xiamen University campus and Xiamen Port. Inside the temple, visitors have the opportunity to taste the famous Nanputuo vegetarian dishes. The Minnan Buddhist College, located next to Nanputuo Temple, was founded in 1925 and has a long-standing reputation at home and abroad. It is the cradle of promoting Buddhism and cultivating Buddhist disciples. Currently, many students are studying here. The Thousand-Hand Guanyin has exquisite craftsmanship, thousands of hands and eyes, and shining golden light. The Sutra Pavilion has a rich collection of Buddhist cultural relics, including classics, Buddha statues, bronze bells from the Song Dynasty, ancient books, etc. The "Lotus Sutra of Wonderful Dharma" written in blood during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and the white porcelain Guanyin, a masterpiece of the He Chaozong, are the most valuable. There are many inscriptions preserved around the temple, including the famous stone inscriptions by Chen Di and Shen Yourong of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty and the imperial stele made by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. The stone carving with the word "Buddha" on the cliff behind the temple is four feet high and one foot wide. Behind the temple, there are five peaks standing on the screen, green pines and bamboos, and beautiful rocks and ravines. It is called "Five Lao Lingxiao" and is one of the eight scenic spots in Xiamen. When you climb up, you can have a panoramic view of the mountains, wind and sea waves.
3. Hulishan Fort Hulishan Fort is located on the seaside of Huli Mountain at the southern end of Xiamen Island. It was built in the 20th year of Guangxu (1894) and has a history of bleak rise and fall for more than 100 years. The base of the fort is made of camphor tree sap mixed with glutinous rice, brown sugar, lime and sand. It is very tough. The entire fort consists of barracks, tunnels, command building, observation tower, ammunition depot, moat, etc. It is a rectangular castle made of granite stones with an area of ??13,000 square meters. Historically, it was an ancient battle station for the Xiamen people to fight against the imperialist invaders. It is divided into two parts, the east and the west. It has two main guns (only one remains now), which were purchased from the Krupp Arsenal in Germany. There is one of the largest naval guns in China. Go out to the left of the scenic spot. Below is a section of wooden trestle road that is said to be beautiful along the coast of Xiamen. There are double bicycles for rent here, and you can ride to and from Zengcuo. The most beautiful seaside scenery in Xiamen is from Xiamen University Baicheng to Zengcuojian.
4. Jimei, the hometown of overseas Chinese. Xiamen is the main gateway for overseas Chinese from Fujian to enter and exit, and it is also the main hometown of overseas Chinese in Fujian. Xiamen's earliest ocean shipping, earliest railways, and earliest inland river shipping and water-land transport to counties in southern Fujian were mostly invested and established by overseas Chinese. Overseas Chinese have made great contributions to the rise and development of Xiamen's modern capitalist national industry. Jimei is the hometown of Mr. Tan Kah Kee, my country’s famous patriotic overseas Chinese leader, and is also a famous hometown of overseas Chinese. Mr. Tan Kah Kee poured money into education in his early years and founded the famous Jimei School Village here.
Jimei Town has the famous Jimei School Village, Tan Kah Kee’s former residence, Gui Lai Hall, Ao Garden and the 2,212-meter-long Gaoji Seawall. It is a well-known cultural and educational area and hometown of overseas Chinese at home and abroad, and is also a tourist attraction with beautiful scenery.
5. Xiamen University was founded in 1921 by the famous patriotic overseas Chinese leader Mr. Tan Kah Kee. It is the first university founded by overseas Chinese in the history of modern education in China. The campus is surrounded by mountains and sea, with beautiful scenery, and has become recognized as one of the most beautiful Chinese university campuses. The school is very large and has a large garden with beautiful scenery. Especially the female dormitory building, you can also see the sea view. No wonder Xiamen University is said to be a popular place for falling in love. There is a beautiful lake on campus, and students are sitting in twos and threes on the grassy slope beside the lake. There is a lakeside cafe by the lake. It would be very pleasant to have a cup of coffee here.
