A third-grade primary school student wrote a diary describing the beautiful scenery of Zhangjiajie on the morning of October 3 this year.

The weather is really sunny today. When we got up early in the morning, we couldn't wait to set off. The destination was the long-awaited Zhangjiajie.

We were running tirelessly on the road, talking and laughing in the car, and we were very happy. Finally, we saw towering peaks from a long distance away, with white clouds playing hide and seek between them. I yelled happily and ran out, my parents followed closely behind, and we ran in together.

We turned a corner, and the charming peaks towered into the clouds one after another. Some of them were like bamboo shoots, and some were like sharp swords. They all seemed to be waving to me. If you look closely, they look like a natural famous painting. My family and I played until noon before reluctantly leaving.

In the afternoon we saw the Golden Whip Rock again, which was completely different from other peaks. There were pine trees growing on it, and it sparkled with golden light under the sun. We all sighed. It wasn't until the afternoon, when the sun set, that we reluctantly got in the car and went home.

Although I am very tired today, I am still very happy.
