One-day tour of Iceland's Golden Circle attractions+tickets+location+dining strategy
We decided to visit the two scenic spots left by the Golden Circle at this time, and the hotel will start breakfast at 8 o'clock, so we can be sure that the time is just right.
There are three scenic spots on the regular route of the Golden Circle. If you want to go scuba diving in Silva, or go to other scenic spots, and you are not the kind of person who gets on the bus to sleep and get off the bus to take pictures, then one day is far from enough. Just like us, we didn't have time to go to the geyser and the Golden Waterfall yesterday.
At 4 o'clock 15, the alarm clock rang on time. Look outside the room after brushing your teeth and washing your face. The ground is wet and it is raining lightly.
The pony is crawling on the lawn in the distance, and its mother is grazing beside it.
There is a bird on the left and right of the wooden table, and the one on the left is super mini.
At 5 o'clock, when we started on time, the rain had stopped. Just a few minutes after driving out of the hotel, I suddenly saw such a picture. The oblique sunshine is not strong, and the morning fog is floating on the road, just like a fairyland. I don't have time to stop and take pictures in the back. The destination of this trip has arrived. What I saw before was not the morning fog at all, but the heat generated by geothermal energy.
geyser
Geysers are hot springs that erupt intermittently, mostly in areas with active volcanic activity. In the volcanic active area, the hot lava will raise the water temperature of the surrounding strata and even turn into steam. When water vapor meets a crack in a rock formation, it will rise along the crack, and when the temperature drops below the vaporization point, it will condense into high-temperature water. These accumulated water, as well as the groundwater in the upper part of the formation, will rise to the ground along the cracks in the formation and erupt at regular intervals to form geysers.
Geyser means erupting spring in Icelandic, and it is one of the famous geysers in the world.
We should be the first tourists. This is an open area with no walls and no admission fee. In fact, almost all natural landscapes in Iceland are free, except Crater Kerry. We parked our car in the parking lot at the entrance of the visitor center. The sun is like a naughty child, sometimes hiding in the clouds, and sometimes getting out of them. It is only tens of meters from the parking lot to the opposite scenic spot. The sun came in and out, and I was tired for him.
When the sun rises, we come.
The rain is touching in the sun.
The ground is covered with pink flowers.
Not all geysers are continuously spouting. When the spraying conditions are lost, it is just a pool of water or a pile of soil. Just like the original largest geyser here, its name is Geyser, and it has fallen into a deep sleep. Because there is a layer of soil about 20 cm thick covering the old silica layer, the geyser did not erupt again.
Stoke geyser is the only geyser that is still erupting normally here. Spray continuously for two or three times every eight minutes, and the water column can reach up to 20 meters.
Struck is spraying ahead.
While we were still looking at the scenery, it suddenly sprayed in front, and I suddenly got excited and rushed over. Waiting for its next spray.
The most famous geyser scenic spot is not a huge jet of water, nor a high frequency that erupts every few minutes, but a 0.5-second blue pearl bubble that is about to erupt. Many people have to stay here for a long time, just to shoot that wonderful 0.5 second.
I didn't get the best result.
In order to shoot the best spray, we waited for it to erupt several times, because it didn't spray to 20 meters high every time, and it fell a few meters shyly. At that moment, we were all as motionless and exhausted as sculptures.
But I still have to pick it up for fear that I won't be able to film the whole process of spraying. Every outbreak is not without warning. Energy is also brewing. A few seconds before spraying, you will see it start to stir. Maybe you will ask if you can't wait for it to stir up before you raise your camera to shoot. Theoretically, you can do this, but we are afraid that it will be too late if we are not careful.
Taking photos and videos is really busy! Originally, I wanted to bring a camera on this trip. Then I thought, I was too busy to bring it. Fortunately, I didn't.
Xiaoyan, she took a video of every scenic spot with her mobile phone and inspired me. If you travel next time, be sure to give your mobile phone a sling and hang it around your neck to make it easier to shoot videos. If you haven't been there, if you like taking pictures and don't want to miss the video, then this method should be a coup.
The whole injection process
The surface temperature here is very high, and there is a hot warning sign.
Sunlight adds a touch of immortality to this place.
It's a bit like the water in Jiuzhaigou.
Bryce
Blesi, Icelandic means flame. Turquoise is very eye-catching. It once spewed a water column one meter high.
It can be seen from the relevant records of the last century that the water sprayed by Blesi formed a stream, and Blesi was composed of two basins divided by a piece of land with fire.
The water in the south spring eye is deep and clear, hot and colorless, so the spring eye looks dry on days when it doesn't erupt. The water in the spring flows to the spring in the north through this "flame" in the basin. The water in the spring eye is blue.
Blue spring is only 1 m deep, because it has no source of its own, so its water is relatively cold, only 40 degrees.
Bryce
It's sprayed in front again.
The land on the hillside ahead is crimson.

My outline
Red is earth, green is grass and yellow is flower.
Look at Struck from another angle
Curious, BY wants to feel whether the water on the ground is really hot. In our exclamation, his hand was already in the water. Just when we couldn't bear to look him in the eye, he said something that surprised us: "This water is cold."
Cold, I looked around suspiciously. Oh, this is a walkable road, not a geothermal hot spring. It should be hot only in closed places.
Finally, look at the blue gushing.
There are two places where we can eat. One is a buffet in a nearby hotel, which is not expensive, but there are many tour groups, especially China tourists. The other is the tourist center, where fast food is not expensive, much cheaper than the fast food in Golden Falls.

Lovely refrigerator, made in Iceland.
It takes about 10 minutes to reach the Golden Falls after leaving the geyser.
Gulfoss Waterfall is the largest fault canyon waterfall in Iceland, with a width of 2,500 meters and a height of 70 meters.
The Tahe River forms two waterfalls here, and the downstream channel narrows into a torrent. The golden waterfall is magnificent and the scenery is spectacular. The rushing water flowed down the river and poured into the canyon, with a drop of more than 50 meters and a deafening roar.
Under the sun, in the transpiration of water mist, covered with golden water droplets, bright rainbow looms, as if the whole waterfall is made of gold, hence the name "Golden Waterfall".
Speaking of waterfalls, I have to mention rainbows. I used to look at other people's photos and shoot rainbows, but we were weak. Every time I go to the waterfall, there is either no sun or there is a sun without a rainbow. Only the penultimate waterfall I saw on my trip captured the rainbow, and it was the only time. If I can't see the whole journey at once, should I say that my luck is "really good"?
The Golden Waterfall is divided into an upper waterfall and a lower waterfall, and there are two parking lots. When we arrived, several cars had already parked there, and it was only after 6 o'clock at this time. It seems that many people have arrived early. Iceland can be said to be the country with the largest number of people taking pictures with photographic equipment abroad in recent years, and it is a country where many photographers and travelers must come once in their lives.
The observation deck is a place overlooking the waterfall. The water vapor in the waterfall is so strong that you can't see it in front of it.
Look at the steam ahead.
I always walk at the back of the line. When I first arrived at the waterfall, Xiao Yan told me excitedly that she saw a rainbow by the waterfall. I'm excited, too, but I move on. No, she took out her cell phone. There is no rainbow beside the waterfall in the photo. Xiao Yan was worried that I wouldn't believe it. She took by's cell phone and said he had it clearly. I looked at it, and it seemed a little, almost invisible. All right.
Transpiration fog
The sun in the sky was always there, and he didn't show me the rainbow until I left, not for a second! I said golden waterfall, is it a bit unreasonable for you not to show me the rainbow in so much fog?
The golden waterfall is very spectacular.
Descending trajectory
Then we walked all the way along the path to the waterfall, which was bathed in misty water vapor. I put on a raincoat, too, but I don't have to wear a raincoat with a jacket.
When shooting at this angle, you must pay attention to protecting the lens, where the water vapor is the largest.
Come on, feel the steam.
You can always see different angles of waterfalls along the way. Be sure to walk the whole distance until you reach the front of the waterfall.
In front of the waterfall
Canyon; split
Golden Waterfalls can definitely rank among the three major waterfalls in Iceland. The gold content of the golden circle is genuine, not only close, but also the scenic spots are very ornamental.
The hillside is full of small flowers of various colors.
When I was doing the Raiders before, I saw someone say that there was a fence opposite the Golden Waterfall Visitor Center, and there were many horses in it. We forgot to watch it because we had to get back to the hotel, but I had enough of the ponies in our hotel.
After we sent B& amp to the hotel, we went to have breakfast. This foreign b&; Bbedand
Breakfast is actually very economical, providing beds and breakfast, but the accommodation season in Iceland is still quite expensive. There was a joke at breakfast. We saw something like porridge in the bowl and ate it. I didn't think it was the raw material for making waffles. An old man sitting next to us showed us how to make waffles, but the raw materials were cooked and edible, and they tasted like oatmeal.
After breakfast, I went outside to see the pony again, which was a farewell before parting.
I touched it and it came back. Great, it hasn't moved at all.
That's brilliant.
Lovely pony
Pony went back to his mother to drink milk.
Reluctantly bid farewell to the pony. When our car started, it ran away again. Maybe it can't bear to say goodbye to us.
