What should I pay attention to when I travel to Vietnam and apply for a tourist visa in Vietnam?

1. China citizens who hold valid diplomatic, official and ordinary official passports and their accompanying persons who use the same passport are exempt from visas to enter, leave or transit Vietnam, and the stay period is generally 30 days. If an extension is needed, an application must be made by the Vietnamese reception unit and handled by the exit-entry administration department of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam.

2. China citizens who enter, leave or transit Vietnam with valid ordinary passports must apply for visas in advance. Meet the following conditions, you can apply for an international port visa on arrival with a stay period of 1 month or less than 1 year:

1) Attend a relative's funeral or visit a seriously ill relative (relevant certification materials are required);

2) Entry to participate in tours organized by Vietnam International Travel Service;

3) Providing emergency technical assistance for Vietnam projects to rescue seriously ill patients or injured people;

4) Participate in natural disasters and epidemic rescue;

) Other emergency reasons.

3. Visa types include tourist visa, visiting relatives visa (once a month, once every three months and many times every three months), business visa and work visa (once a month, once every three months, many times every three months and half a year).

4. The shortest visa stay is 15 days, others are 15 days or more.
