China is the best place for parent-child travel in summer.
I have asked a lot, and I have thought about this question carefully.
I think children play a little differently from adults. Children are curious and love to play, so the places they want to go need to be novel and interesting, and it is best to bring some stories.
Some places have beautiful scenery, but the journey is hard and adults are fascinated, but it is not suitable for children. Once tired, the first two are big.
Then, I will talk about which cities I have visited are suitable for children to play.
Megacities such as Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen are left to the end, so let's talk about some distinctive ones first.
Hohhot 1
Highlight: Dinosaurs, grasslands and Inner Mongolia specialties.
My first thought is Hohhot.
Why?
Because I think the Inner Mongolia Museum is worth taking children to.
At present, more than 1000 species of dinosaurs have been found in the world, more than 200 species in China and 36 species in Inner Mongolia, which is called "the hometown of dinosaur phobia". The exhibition of Inner Mongolia Museum is from the origin of life to the modern order. It was quite shocking to see that part of the dinosaur era. The children are very curious about this legendary animal. Bringing children here is both leisure and study.
Speaking of the prairie, Hohhot is a bit short. Huanghuagou Tourist Area in nearby Wulanchabu City was recommended by a local in Hohhot. I have never been there myself. Maybe I think it is necessary to go to Hulunbeier and Nalati to see the prairie. However, since I took my children to Hohhot, I can consider going to the nearby grassland to feel different scenery.
You can go to the Wuliang Temple in Wu Zhao city, and the old street is nearby. Although these are tourist streets, they are very lively and the buildings are retro. Even if you don't go to these scenic spots, walking in the city is also a different style.
Special food can go to eat Mongolian food, milk tea unique to Inner Mongolia, steamed dumplings, all kinds of mutton, roast, hand-grabbed meat, instant-boiled mutton and so on. Of course, if children can't accept mutton, the fun will be lost by half, and the priority of this city can be adjusted later.
2. Weihai
Highlights: Look at the sea, coastline, zoo and island scenery.
Between Weihai and Qingdao, I chose Weihai because there are fewer people and the climate is more comfortable.
The coastline of Weihai is particularly beautiful. You can see people chasing the sea along a long coastal greenway. You can take your children to pick up shells and starfish, but pay attention to safety.
The famous scenic spots in Weihai are all in Rongcheng, so it is very convenient to go to Rongcheng from Weihai.
Rongcheng Xixiakou Shendiao Mountain Wildlife Park is said to be the largest zoo in Shandong, which is more fun than that in the provincial capital.
Rongcheng also has a mountain top, which is the easternmost part of Shandong Peninsula. The scenery is beautiful.
Liu Gongdao in Weihai is said to be very nice. You can take a speedboat or something. Unfortunately, when I went there that day, the park was suspended because of heavy rain, so I couldn't go.
3. Chengdu
Highlights: giant pandas, urban monuments, and delicious food.
Of course, you have to go to the giant panda base first to see the chubby and lovely giant pandas.
There are many scenic spots in Chengdu, such as Wuhou Temple and Du Fu Caotang.
Life in Chengdu is very good, and there are countless delicious foods. It was not built to be called the food capital.
4.xi 'an
Highlight: Terracotta Warriors and Horses, the culture of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, and the historical traces of the ancient capital of the 13th Dynasty.
Look at history and go to Xi 'an. Of course, to give children a clear history, they have to do more homework.
Now the city that never sleeps in Datang is a scenic spot among network celebrities, and all kinds of performances are very good. How about buying a suit of Tang Dynasty clothes for children and visiting the night market in Tang Dynasty?
5. Zigong
Highlights: Dinosaurs, colored lights, tourists are not so leisurely.
Why did you mention the small town of Zigong? Because Zigong has three treasures, dinosaurs, colored lights and salt, among which dinosaurs and colored lights are suitable for children to play with.
Zigong's dinosaurs are also quite famous. The city is full of dinosaur elements. Most of Zigong dinosaur museum is a bit like an amusement park. Let's entertain and educate.
It is said that the lanterns in Zigong are also very beautiful. There are all kinds of lights hanging on the trees on both sides of the street, and the night is like a fairy tale world. And now the Lantern World is not only open during the Chinese New Year, but also open all year round, but unfortunately, I have been maintaining it for a few days and avoided me perfectly.
6. Tour of Three Famous Cities
Highlights: Ancient City Wall, Gulongzhong, Tang Cheng, Three Gorges and Guan Yu.
A friend asked me to take my children to travel to places with interesting history, and I thought of the Three Kingdoms.
This section of car rental is more suitable, from Xiangyang to Yichang, and then to Jingzhou.
Almost all these cities have ancient walls, and each wall is a story.
Xiangyang ancient city wall has been well built, including the city wall and Hanshui River. Walking along the city wall, you can tell children the story of sticking the city wall in history.
You can go to Gulong to see Zhuge Liang.
You can also visit the Tang Cheng Film and Television Base, where the story of the Cat Demon was filmed.
See the Three Gorges Dam in Yichang, feel the grandeur of the project, and then visit the Three Gorges family. It is best to go to both places as soon as possible, especially when crossing the canyon by boat. The water is green and the mountains are dangerous.
Jingzhou can take children to the Guandi Temple near the city wall to worship and tell the story of Guan Yu. The walls of Jingzhou are very distinctive. For example, the two doors are not facing each other directly, but facing each other obliquely, in order to prevent the invasion of siege vehicles. The food in Jingzhou is also quite good. Hubei cuisine is home-cooked, and Jingzhou is the best place in Hubei. I believe I won't be disappointed.
7. Hulunbeier
Highlights: Prairie, full of cattle and sheep.
I didn't make it to the two grasslands I wanted to visit most this year, but it's enough to take my children to see the scenery of the grasslands. Why not talk about Nalati? Because now the prevention and control in Xinjiang will be stricter. In case the itinerary code is a bit awkward, it will be very tossing with children in Xinjiang, and it is not recommended for the time being.
8. North, Guangzhou and Shenzhen
Beijing
Highlight: the capital, the Forbidden City, museums, hutongs and famous universities.
There are many places of interest. Visit the Forbidden City, museums and hutongs, take them to Tsinghua Peking University, and make them yearn for it. There are so many things worth tasting in this city that children have a yearning for Beijing.
Shanghai
Highlight: Disney, Bund and Prosperity.
Mainly to visit Disneyland. Of course, there may be many people queuing during the summer vacation, which will affect the experience.
Go to the Bund, feel the prosperity of history, walk in hutongs and alleys, and savor the details of Shanghai.
Guangzhou
Highlight: amusement park, wildlife world, Guangzhou cuisine.
Guangzhou Changlong Water Park is just playing with water in hot summer.
Known as "the most international wildlife park in China", Chimelong Wildlife World is the largest wildlife theme park in the world with the largest animal population. If you want to go, you must go to the best.
However, I haven't studied whether these amusement parks are particularly crowded during the summer vacation.
There are many delicious foods in Guangzhou. It is said that you can eat in Guangzhou, so don't worry about eating badly.
Shenzhen
Is there anything to play?
In fact, there are still many places I haven't recommended, some because I haven't been there on the spot, some because it's too hot in summer, such as Henan, which I haven't been to, such as Sanya, which is too hot in summer and suitable for playing with sand and water in winter.
