Tolingi is located four kilometers east of Lanxi Town, Lanxi County, with the Laha Mountain as its back and the Hulan River as its face. It is one of the most famous Buddhist temples in the three northeastern provinces as of 20 13. Covering an area of10.2 million square meters, with a building area of 4,500 square meters. It was presided over by Shi Anxi, a famous monk in Northeast China, the former vice president of the Buddhist Association of Heilongjiang Province and the vice president of Gokurakuji. Master Anxi was ordained for 63 years and died in the spring of 2003, enjoying a high reputation in the Buddhist circles in China. Tuolin Temple is named after Tuolin Temple in Lushan Mountain, Jiangxi Province, and because Master Anxi also practices the Pure Land Method, the practice method is the same, so it is also named Tuolin Temple.
