Where is the volcanic island in Fangchenggang and how to get there?

The Fangchenggang Volcanic Island Tourist Scenic Area is located in the sea east of Hongsha Village, Guangpo Town, Port District, Fangchenggang City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and within the Qinzhou Bay waters in the northern part of the Beibu Gulf. It is the largest of the Fangchenggang Red Sand Islands. It is an island for sightseeing and leisure vacation, adjacent to the Longmen Islands Scenic Area in Qinzhou Bay. It belongs to the Fangchenggang District Tourism Planning Area and the Autonomous Region Marine Economic Breeding Area. You can reach the volcano from the Hongsha Village Pier in Guangpo Town, Fangchenggang City or by boat from the Qinzhou Port Pier. island.

There are two options to go to Fangchenggang Volcanic Island:

1. Take a boat from Qinzhou Port: Take a train or express bus to Qinzhou City, then transfer at Qinzhou Bus Station to Qinzhou Port, from Take a boat to the island from Qinzhou Port.

2. Take a boat to Fangcheng Port: Take the express bus to Fangcheng, then transfer to the special bus to Fangcheng Hongsha at the Second Transport Station opposite the station, get off and take a boat at Hongsha Pier. Go to the island.
