Xu Hong, 1966, was born in Enshi, Hubei. Bachelor of Ideological and Political Education from Wuhan University, Master of Psychology from Huazhong Normal University, Ph.D. in Journalism and Communication from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He used to be the director and professor of the advertising department of wuhan textile University, and now he is a professor, master tutor and member of China Advertising Education Society of South-Central University for Nationalities. On 20 10 1-3, I was selected by the overseas study fund Committee of the Ministry of Education and Dentsu Co., Ltd. (Dentsu Co., Ltd. is the largest single advertising company in the world and the fifth largest media group in the world) to be a researcher in the "Dentsu Advertising Talent Training Fund Project of the Ministry of Education of China".

In recent years, Xu Hong has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as introduction to advertising, advertising and consumer psychology, advertising copywriting, new media and advertising research, TV advertising research, social science research methods, communication principles, advertising psychology research, media theory and practice, and guiding graduation thesis.

The main direction of academic research is advertising psychology and new media, which has initially formed a research style combining logical reasoning with demonstration. The series of research on children's advertising psychology occupies a leading position in China. At present, the research focus is planned to develop in the direction of advertising psychology for the elderly, which was funded by the Humanities and Social Sciences Fund of the Ministry of Education in 2009. Published 32 advertising academic papers written independently or as the first author in authoritative, core magazines and other academic journals, such as News and Communication Research, Contemporary Communication, Modern Advertising, China Advertising, News Frontier, Psychological Science, etc., including 4 authoritative journals, core journals 10, NPC full-text reprint, NPC plagiarism/kl.

Xu Hong presided over the "Diantong" between the Ministry of Education and Dentsu. The project of China Advertising Talents Training Fund ―― "Research on Trinity and Multi-integration Advertising Talents Training Model" has achieved excellent results in the conclusion.
