Usually it is the main road of economic and cultural exchanges inside and outside Shanhaiguan Pass, but it is a battleground for military strategists in wartime. The head of the old dragon

Laolongtou is the eastern starting point of the Ming Great Wall, located in the coastal highlands 5 kilometers south of Shanhaiguan. The dragon walked through the desert, climbed Helan and Taihang Mountain, descended from Yanshan Mountain, flew to Bohai Sea, tied a knot in the corridor of western Liaoning, erected mountains and seas, and then led its neck into the sea. Since the founding of the Qing Dynasty, Kangxi, Yongzheng, Qianlong, Jiaqing and Daoguang have visited Laolongtou many times, among which Emperor Qianlong visited the sea four times, leaving a lot of poems and songs about Mo Bao. The "Tiankai Haiyue" tablet on the old faucet is said to be a relic of the Tang Dynasty. These four words express the charm of the wonderful landscape of "looking at the sky and blue, putting it in the right place". After getting off at Qinhuangdao Railway Station, train passengers can take bus No.7 and No.8 in the city and get off directly in front of the scenic spot. After the self-driving tourists get off at the west exit of Qinhuangdao on the Beijing-Qinhuangdao Expressway, they will go straight along Yanglu Road to Wenhua South Road, go east to the overpass at the top of Wenhua South Road, and get off the overpass to Nanshan Street.
