Tourism College of Changchun University is a multi-disciplinary private independent college focusing on literature. The school is the executive director of the Higher Education Committee of China Private Education Association, the executive director of china tourism association and the executive director of China Tourism Education Branch. The college was founded in 2000 and was recognized as an independent college by the Ministry of Education in 2004. As of June, 20021year, the college has two campuses, namely, Sheling Campus and Jingyue Campus, covering an area of 580,000 square meters and a building area of 270,000 square meters. The college has 10 teaching units in tourism management, arts, foreign languages, business schools, international exchanges and engineering schools, and 38 undergraduate, junior college majors and professional directions, covering five disciplines of management, literature, economics, engineering and art, with 9 187 students and 728 faculty members.
