Zhujiajiao One Day Tour Shanghai Zhujiajiao Travel Guide

Zhujiajiao Ancient Town is now open. The bluestone paths and criss-crossing alleys in the ancient town are also a major feature, with beautiful natural scenery. So what should a tour guide do on a one-day tour of Zhujiajiao in Shanghai? let's see.

1. Route recommendation

Route overview: Kezhiyuan Fangsheng Bridge Ouxianggema to Chenggong Dachang Taichung Dragon Bridge Yongquan Bridge.

2. Must-see attractions

Ke Zhi Garden

Kezhi Garden is a garden built during the Republic of China. Ke Zhi means "farming and reading", which is the master's wish. After eating and wearing warm clothes, I read a book. Building such a large garden requires a lot of money. There are both Chinese and Western buildings in the garden, as well as vegetable plots and farmland. The area is a little larger than the Humble Administrator's Garden, but there are not many people, much less tourists than the tourists on the street outside. There are embroidery shops, art exhibitions, calligraphy and more in the park.

Fangsheng Bridge

The core of the Zhujiajiao Ancient Town Scenic Area is Fangsheng Bridge. Square Bridge, a stone arch bridge built in the middle of the Qing Dynasty, is a landmark building in Zhujiajiao, with majestic momentum and symmetrical structure. Standing on the "Fangsheng Bridge", you can see the panoramic view of the ancient town.

Ouxiang Pavilion

After careful construction, the park was officially opened to the public at the end of 2008. The renovated park covers an area of ??10,300 square meters (approximately 15.4 acres) and embodies the essence of the old garden. Now, major scenic spots such as Jiuqu Bridge, Jingqing Hall, Baibat Pavilion, Daoxiang Village, Guanyutai, and Ouxiang Pavilion have been restored and rebuilt, fully embodying the rural culture of "learning without forgetting to work".

A direct victory

Zhujiajiao meat dumplings, made by grandma on the spot, one in half a minute. Most of Zhujiajiao’s delicacies are concentrated on North Street, which is also one of Zhujiajiao’s famous attractions. There are egg yolk meat dumplings and pork chops. These two are the most delicious things in Zhujiajiao, along with smoked green beans, vegetable cocoons, dried tofu, glutinous rice cakes, etc. ~You must try it when you go~

Tatayi

There are many people in the ancient town, including many foreigners. It is said to be the favorite ancient town among foreigners. The main attractions are concentrated on Xijing Street and North Street, arranged vertically and horizontally along the river. Don't worry, it looks pretty big, but it actually goes pretty fast. There are several entrances to the scenic area, making it easy to enter and exit.

Zhonglong Bridge

It is one of the three famous bridges in Zhujiajiao (Yongan Bridge, Zhonglong Bridge and Yongquan Bridge). The locals call the Xijing River "Longjiang", and the three bridges are the dragon's head, dragon's belly and dragon's tail. The origin of this bridge is unknown, but it is known for its simplicity and sophistication.

Yongquan Bridge

At night, the scenery is quite charming! Zhujiajiao waterways are criss-crossed, the river flows under the bridge, the boatmen paddle, and tourists walk through this ancient town. On both sides of the river, old-fashioned residents with the same white walls and black tiles live in. They walk slowly through the alleys and bask in the sun. This feeling is the same as the Shantang Street I walked through in Suzhou. China's ancient towns always have the unique charm of slowing down the pace, making people can't help but enjoy this beautiful time quietly.

3. Traffic strategy

First of all, you can drive by yourself. Just search for Zhujiajiao at the destination. The ancient town scenic area is being expanded and there are many parking spaces. There is a parking fee, which is about 20 yuan for three hours.

Second, you can also take a direct train in the center of Shanghai with several stops (Shanghai South Railway Station, People's Square Pu'an Road, Jinling Road, Yan'an Road and Old Chengdu Road).

Thirdly, there is still a subway arriving at the station, but after the subway arrives, there is still a long way to the scenic spot. Tickets are not necessarily required to go to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town. If you stroll around the old streets of the ancient town, eat snacks, go shopping, and look at the small bridges and flowing water, it is all free, but you need tickets for small attractions, and you need to pay extra for taking a cruise ship. Tickets can be bought online and are cheaper.

4. Ticket information

There are three types of tickets. One is 80 yuan including eight attractions and a cruise ship, the other is 60 yuan including eight attractions without a cruise ship, and the last one is 30 yuan including four attractions.
