1. Application conditions for Hong Kong and Macao individual tourist visa

Starting from January 1, 20xx, the following mainland cities have been included in the (Hong Kong and Macao Individual Travel Plan) and can apply for (Hong Kong and Macao Individual Travel endorsement (G)) to travel to Hong Kong on your own. Other regions can only apply for (Hong Kong and Macao group travel endorsement (L)) to travel to Hong Kong.

The cities are: Guangdong Province, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing (limited to 17 districts and counties), Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Taizhou, Fuzhou (limited to urban areas), Xiamen, Citizens with registered permanent residence in Quanzhou, Chengdu, Jinan, Dalian, Shenyang, Nanchang, Changsha, Nanning, Haikou, Guiyang, Kunming, Shijiazhuang, Zhengzhou, Changchun, Hefei, Wuhan, and Shenzhen who apply to travel to Hong Kong and Macao for the first time must go to the district police station where their registered permanent residence is located in person. Apply at the branch's entry-exit permit hall. If you have already applied for a Hong Kong and Macao pass, you can apply online or over the phone for re-endorsement for individual travel without going to the permit application hall in person. 2. Hong Kong and Macao individual tourist visa application procedures

1. Acceptance authority: Exit and entry management department of the county (district) public security bureau where the household registration is located.

2. Submit a completed "Application Form for Mainland Residents Traveling to Hong Kong and Macao" (fill it in with a pen or signature pen, ballpoint pens are not allowed), along with a photo studio printout receipt and a digital optical photo.

3. Submit the originals of ID card and household registration book for verification (applicants under 16 years old only need to submit the household registration book for verification; military personnel only need to submit proof of identity), and submit copies.

4. If you hold a valid travel permit to and from Hong Kong and Macao, please submit your travel permit to Hong Kong and Macao.

5. Persons who have notified the public security department of exit registration and apply for the "Pass to and from Hong Kong and Macao" and individual travel endorsement for Hong Kong and Macao must submit the opinions of the unit according to the cadre management authority. Other personnel do not need to submit opinions from their units or police stations.

3. Hong Kong and Macao individual tourist visa fee standards

The Hong Kong and Macao travel permit is 100 yuan each.

A valid endorsement costs RMB 20 per item.

Each second valid endorsement is 40 yuan

4. Hong Kong and Macao individual tourist visa processing time limit

First application for travel permit and endorsement for travel to Hong Kong and Macao: 15 working days;

Re-application for endorsement: 10 working days.

5. Relevant regulations for Hong Kong and Macao individual tourist visas

1. With an individual tourist visa, you can leave the country on your own to Hong Kong and Macao within the validity period without joining a tour group.

2. Persons applying for individual travel visas for Hong Kong and Macao must strictly abide by the "Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People's Republic of China" and the relevant laws of Hong Kong and Macao. Any violation of the above laws will be investigated and punished in accordance with the law. For those who have violated local laws, illegal residence, illegal employment, and fraud during their stay in Hong Kong and Macao, the public security entry and exit management departments will no longer approve their exit applications for 2 to 5 years in accordance with relevant regulations.

3. When mainland residents hold a permit to travel to and from Hong Kong and Macao when exiting the country at Shenzhen or Zhuhai ports, if they find that the endorsement information on the certificate they hold is incorrectly produced, they can apply for a replacement at the Shenzhen or Zhuhai Entry-Exit Visa Office of the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department. Issue the same endorsement.

4. Mainland residents whose travel permits to and from Hong Kong and Macao are lost or damaged in Hong Kong or Macao can apply for entry and exit passes to the Shenzhen or Zhuhai Entry-Exit Visa Office of the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department through the China Travel Service in Hong Kong or Macau to return to the mainland.

5. Special reminder: Applicants are not allowed to hold more than two (including two) valid travel passes to Hong Kong and Macao at the same time, and are not allowed to hold more than two (including two) valid endorsements for the same destination at the same time. When applying for an endorsement, you must ensure that the validity period of the travel permit to and from Hong Kong and Macau is more than 20 days beyond the validity period of the endorsement you are applying for.

Personal travel endorsement (G) is issued to applicants for personal travel to Hong Kong or Macau. This endorsement is divided into four types: 3-month primary endorsement, 3-month secondary endorsement, 1-year primary endorsement, and 1-year secondary endorsement. Each stay in Hong Kong or Macau shall not exceed 7 days.
