How much does it cost for two people to travel to Europe for half a month? This mainly depends on two conditions: destination and travel time.

First, let’s talk about the way to travel.
You can choose between group tours and independent travel. There are pros and cons to both approaches. Briefly, they are as follows.
You can save some money on the cost of a group tour. Group tours have price advantages in terms of transportation, accommodation, and worry-free travel. Don't worry too much about your itinerary, just follow the travel agency's arrangements.
But if you are in a group, the degree of freedom is less, the route and time are fixed, and travel is often a quick trip to work and clock in.
02 The cost of independent travel is relatively high, but if you choose to be frugal, you have to make your own decisions in terms of transportation, hotels, etc. It takes a lot of trouble to control your own time and travel routes.

Second, talk about the travel destination.
European routes are divided into Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, Western Europe and Northern Europe. Central European countries often intersperse the above routes. Consumption in these different regions varies greatly. Northern Europe is the most expensive, followed by Western Europe, Southern Europe is slightly cheaper, and Eastern Europe is the cheapest. According to the room standards of domestic fast hotel chains, it is obvious when compared.
Northern Europe is 800-1000 RMB/day, Western Europe is 700-800 RMB/day, Southern Europe is 600-800 RMB/day, and Eastern Europe is 400-600 RMB/day. Of course, if you are traveling independently, you can choose a local B&B or apartment hotel, which can be cheaper.
Therefore, travel costs vary greatly among different destinations. However, if two people travel independently (just one room), you can save a lot of money on hotel accommodation!

Three. Travel time
Like our country, tourism all over the world is divided into peak seasons. If it is the peak season, not only are the air ticket discounts small, but hotel prices are also very high. If you choose the off-season, when there are fewer tourists, you can save a lot of air tickets and hotel costs.
The two major expenditure items for travel expenses are air tickets and hotels. Different travel times are the same route, and the price difference is also huge!

IV. Estimating travel costs
All in all, it is difficult to estimate the cost of a 15-day trip to Europe. However, based on my experience, please give me an approximate fee amount for your reference.
15-day free travel for two people:
01 Eastern European route to Russia, Belarus, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and other countries, the reference fee is 18,000-25,000 yuan.
02 Countries such as Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, etc. For the Southern Europe line, the reference fee is 20,000-30,000 yuan.
03 Western European line France, Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, etc. The reference fee is 25,000-35,000 yuan.
4 The Nordic line is in Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland and other countries, and the reference fee is more than 28,000 yuan.

Verb (abbreviation of verb) preventive measures
01 When traveling to Europe, first pay attention to the tourist visa question. Visas for Eastern European countries are relatively simple, and many already waive the need for a Chinese visa or a visa on arrival. However, most countries require a European Schengen visa, which requires certain thresholds. At the same time, some countries that are not part of Schengen, such as the United Kingdom, require another type of visa.
02 I want to save trouble and go to Eastern European countries, where visas are easy and travel costs are low. If you can apply for a Schengen visa in Europe, you can travel freely in the 26 Schengen countries with one visa;
03 If you travel freely in Europe, pay attention to the language issue. Different countries have different languages, but no I don't think English is universal.
Regarding foreign exchange exchange, you can exchange euros (not U.S. dollars) domestically, and then exchange local currencies in non-euro areas as needed.
Finally, due to the epidemic, it is currently inconvenient to travel. It is recommended to wait until the epidemic is over before considering traveling.
