Where is Changbai Mountain located?
Changbai Mountain Tianchi, also known as Baitoushan Tianchi, is located in the southeast of Jilin Province. It is the boundary lake between China and North Korea. The northern part of the lake is in Jilin Province. Changbai Mountain is located on the border between China and North Korea. It is magnificent, rich in resources and has very beautiful scenery. In ancient times, Changbai Mountain was originally a volcano. According to historical records, it has erupted three times since the 16th century. When the volcano erupted and ejected a large amount of lava, the crater formed a basin. Over time, water accumulated and formed a lake, which became the current Tianchi. The lava material erupted by the volcano accumulated around the crater, forming 16 peaks standing around, 7 of which are in North Korea and 9 in our country. Each of these nine peaks has its own characteristics, forming a strange landscape.
Although Tianchi is surrounded by peaks and has an altitude of only 2,154 meters, it is the highest crater lake in my country. It is generally oval in shape, 4.85 kilometers long from north to south, 3.35 kilometers wide from east to west, with an area of ??9.82 square kilometers and a circumference of 13.1 kilometers. The water is very deep, with an average depth of 204 meters and a maximum depth of 373 meters. It is the deepest lake in my country, with a total water storage capacity of approximately 2 billion cubic meters.
The water in Tianchi overflows from a small gap, flows out for more than 1,000 meters, and pours down from the cliff, forming the famous Changbai Mountain Waterfall. The waterfall is more than 60 meters high and is very spectacular. Its roar can be heard 200 meters away from the waterfall. The water from the waterfall flows into the Songhua River, which is a source of the Songhua River. Not far from Changbai Mountain Waterfall, there is Changbai Mountain Hot Spring. This is a hot spring group with an area of ??1,000 square meters, with 13 hot springs gushing outward.
Historical data records that Tianchi water has "no ice in winter and no ping in summer". "No ping in summer" is true, but "no ice in winter" is not necessarily true. The ice layer is generally 1.2 meters thick in winter, and the freezing period lasts for six to seven months. However, there are many hot springs in Tianchi, forming several hot spring belts, 150 meters long and 30 to 40 meters wide. The water temperature is always maintained at 42°C. In the middle of winter, it is steaming and the ice and snow melt, so some people call Tianchi Wenchi. Liangmo.
In addition to water, Tianchi is a huge rock. Originally there were no living creatures in Tianchi water, but in recent years, a cold-water fish - rainbow trout - has appeared in Tianchi. This fish grows slowly and has delicious meat. It is a great treat to taste this fish when traveling to Changbai Mountain. It is said that the rainbow trout in Tianchi were stocked in Tianchi by North Korea. From time to time, I heard people say that they saw monsters swimming in the pool. Relevant departments established the "Tianchi Monster Observation Station" by Tianchi. The scientific researchers conducted long-term observations and photographed precious information, confirming that there are indeed unknown creatures swimming in the water, but what kind of creatures they are is still unclear. . They have conducted many tests on the water in Tianchi and proved that there are no living creatures in the water. Since there are no living things in the water, if there is a monster, what will it eat? This series of questions makes Tianchi more mysterious and beautiful, attracting more and more people to visit.
For nearly a hundred years, the legend of the "water monster" has always been an unsolved mystery. Whether it is Loch Ness in Scotland, Tianchi in Changbai Mountain in China, Kanas Lake in Xinjiang, Lieta Lake in Sichuan, etc., legends of "water monsters" have always been heard, but they are always confusing and difficult to distinguish the authenticity. In the 21st century with a strong scientific atmosphere, no one should easily believe in the fallacy of gods and ghosts, but some incredible and unexplainable strange things do happen in real life. Water monsters have been discovered in many waters in China. Those who have witnessed water monsters are not only surprised but also frightened. The lakes responsible for these incidents have also been shrouded in mystery. So, what exactly are these water monsters and what did witnesses see? The Tianchi water monster may actually be a marine fish similar to the "Mola mola".
Changbai Mountain Tianchi is an active volcano and is close to the Sea of ??Japan. It is very likely that there is a tunnel leading to the Sea of ??Japan, so it is not impossible for the sunfish to enter Tianchi through the tunnel. And because Changbai Mountain Tianchi is an active volcano, there is volcanic activity at the bottom of the lake and it is rich in minerals, which provides food for the sunfish. At the same time, the volcanic activity warms the temperature at the bottom of the lake, so it is suitable for the survival of the sunfish. The most important thing is that according to the photos and videos of water monster sightings, the water monster has the habit of spinning, and it can also cross the water. This is very similar to the sunfish, so the water monster is most likely to be a sunfish.
