What is the most meaningful way to play in Tianmen Mountain, known as the "Soul of Zhangjiajie"?
I have been to Tianmen Mountain, and I think it is most meaningful to take the one-way ropeway and two lines.
The full name of Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area is Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. It is located 8 kilometers south of Zhangjiajie City and is a national 5A-level tourist area.
Tianmen Mountain, the main scenic spot of the park, is a majestic and majestic platform-shaped solitary mountain surrounded by cliffs. Tianmen Mountain has profound cultural heritage and many magical legends, and is known as the "Soul of Zhangjiajie".
Tianmen Mountain is so steep that it is called the natural painted screen of Zhangjiajie. The Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area is so beautiful and popular that it is overcrowded with tourists during the peak season. Let me first talk about how to visit it.
First of all, you must buy tickets in advance. Note, I say it again, buy tickets in advance, almost a week in advance. Otherwise, you are likely to hold the money in your hands and watch others come in and out.
The tour route design of Tianmen Mountain is very complicated, which is really nerve-wracking. Before traveling, you must make a plan and choose your ideal tour route, otherwise it will affect the order of visiting the scenic spots. This is very confusing, and I really need to use a lot of words to answer it clearly.
The annoying Tianmen Mountain routes have two types and five routes: one is a two-way cableway round trip (Line A, B, C) with a ticket price of 275 yuan, and the other is a one-way cableway. (Line 1, Line 2), ticket price is 232 yuan.
The tourist center of Tianmen Mountain is in the urban area, which is very good. Food and accommodation are very convenient. There are three ways to browse Tianmen Mountain:
1. Long ropeway. There is an extra-long direct cableway from the visitor center (lower station of the cableway) to the top of the mountain (upper station of the cableway) for tourists to go back and forth.
2. Landscape vehicles. You can take a scenic bus from the mountain gate at the foot of the mountain to Tianmen Cave. Viewing the scenery by car on Tongtian Avenue in Tianmen Mountain is also a very exciting experience. Therefore, if there are no special reasons, such as motion sickness, the most ideal way to visit Tianmen Mountain is to experience both the cableway and the landscape car.
3. Express channel. This cableway was built in the past two years. It runs from the mountain gate at the foot of Tianmen Mountain to Tianmen Cave. We call it a short cableway. Please be sure to understand this express link. If you don’t understand it, you won’t understand the five types of tickets to Tianmen Mountain. It is these three ways of going up and down Tianmen Mountain that have evolved into five different very winding browsing routes.
1. Two-way cableway to and from Line A: the long cableway goes up to the top of the mountain. After the tour of the mountaintop attractions ends, go down through the mountain tunnel to Tianmen Cave, go down the ladder to the upper station of the short cableway, and the cableway goes down to the mountain gate at the foot of the mountain. Finally, take the shuttle bus back to the visitor center (urban area).
2. Two-way ropeway to and from Line B: completely opposite to the route of Line A. Take the shuttle bus from the visitor center (urban area) to the mountain gate at the foot of Tianmen Mountain, take the short cableway up to Tianmen Cave Square, go up to the sky ladder, and take the mountain-traveling elevator to the top of the mountain. After visiting the top attractions, take the cableway directly back to the station from the long cableway Visitor Center (Downtown). According to most people’s travel habits, it is recommended that Line B is better.
3. Two-way cableway to and from Line C: Take the shuttle bus from the tourist center in the city to the mountain gate, take the short cableway up to Tianmen Cave Square, go up the ladder, and go through the mountain tunnel. Traveling to the top of the mountain. After the end, return to the original route (get off the tunnel, get off the ladder, get off the short ropeway, and take the shuttle bus back to the city).
These three lines are called two-way ropeways, which means that one long ropeway and one short ropeway pass through both, which saves effort. But there is no chance to experience Tongtian Avenue by car on these three lines.
The two ropeways on Line C are both short ropeways and have nothing to do with the big ropeway. Under normal circumstances, if tourists visiting Tianmen Mountain have not booked tickets for lines A and B in advance, they can mostly buy tickets for line C on site.
4. One-way ropeway line 1: This is the earliest line when there is no express ropeway (short ropeway). Take the long ropeway from the city to the top of the mountain. After visiting the scenic spots on the top of the mountain, go down through the mountain tunnel to Tianmen Cave and get off the ladder. Take the landscape car down from Tongtian Avenue to Shanmen, and then take the shuttle bus back to the city.
5. One-way ropeway line 2: The tour sequence of line 1 is completely opposite. Take the shuttle bus from the city to the mountain gate, take the observation car from the mountain gate up to Tianmen Cave Square, go up the ladder, go through the mountain tunnel to the top of the mountain, and after visiting the top of the mountain, take the long ropeway directly back to the city. It is recommended to take Line 2, which is more in line with the general tourist habits.
The two lines of the one-way cableway allow tourists to experience the Great Sky Road, but they cannot take the short cableway.
The fares for the above lines are all-inclusive, but there are three self-paid items on the mountain. First, there is a cross-mountain elevator next to the sky ladder. The sky ladder is high, long and steep. Those who have difficulty getting up and down the ladder can take it at their own expense. One way is 32 yuan. There is a chairlift cable car between the top of the mountain and Tianmen Mountain Temple, which is also at your own expense and costs 25 yuan one way. There are two glass planks in Tianmen Mountain, which cost 5 yuan per person and are paid at your own expense.
Having said so much, it’s not over yet.
Tianmen Mountain is very popular and there are too many tourists, so Tianmen Mountain tickets are divided into time periods to control the diversion of tourists. When buying tickets, everyone determines the time period for their admission. Generally It can only be postponed, not brought forward, but there are exceptions. If there are not many people, you may be allowed to enter the venue early. After going up the mountain and going down the long ropeway, you must also reserve a time slot for the descent in advance, otherwise the queue will make you cry.
That’s it for line ticketing. It's too lengthy, but I can't help it. The introduction is unclear due to the lack of text.
What are the fun places on Tianmen Mountain?
I will use my two-line one-way ropeway and introduce them one by one.
1. Take the shuttle bus from the visitor center (urban area) for 6 kilometers to the mountain gate.
2. Tongtian Avenue for Cars
The Tianmen Mountain Tongtian Avenue is 10.77 kilometers long. In such a short distance, the altitude rises sharply from 200 meters to 1,300 meters. The avenue has 99 turns, and every turn is a gate to hell. It is known as the best highway wonder in the world. In the past few years, the Tianmen Mountain Tongtian Avenue, surrounded by a jade belt, dangerously dangerous, soaring into the sky, and soul-stirring, has undoubtedly ranked first among the top ten winding mountain roads in the country, and is known as the "King of China's Extreme Roads."
The drivers driving the landscape cars on Tongtian Avenue are more arrogant than the other, and they are doing acrobatics with their cars. The people sitting in the cars are so happy, and they feel good. Hey, I feel like my life has reached its peak! The car didn't go very far when they met another car head-on. They were about to collide. The two cars started to move forward at the same time and suddenly stopped. The passengers in the two cars started shouting at the same time, and some even called for daddy. Even though the pedestrians had not calmed down, the two cars were rushing forward at the same time. At the turn, many people did not dare to open their eyes. During the 10-kilometer journey, amidst the cries of people, it felt like we had arrived at the station "in an instant". It is said that on this road, even the most car-sick people will not get sick.
3. Ladder to Heaven
The Tianmen Mountain Ladder has 999 steps, is more than 300 meters long, and has a slope of nearly 59 degrees at the top. There are five gentle and four steep stairs at the top, and there are five platforms at the left and right sides. These five platforms are called "Youyu", "Qinse", "Changsheng", "Qingyun" and "Ruyi" respectively. It represents wealth, happiness, longevity, wealth and blessing. At the top of the ladder, there is a "threshold" guarded by two "auspicious beasts of the heavenly gate". Once you step over it, you will "step into the blue clouds".
There is a mountain-climbing elevator next to the ladder. Visitors who have difficulty getting on and off the ladder can purchase tickets at their own expense.
4. Tianmen Cave
Tianmen Cave is the highest natural through-mountain cave in the world. According to historical records, in the sixth year of Wu Yong'an in the Three Kingdoms (AD 263), the cliff at the top of Songliang Mountain suddenly collapsed, opening a door. King Sun Xiu of Wu regarded this as a great blessing, and named Songliang Mountain "Tianmen Mountain" and established Tianmen County.
The theory of the opening of the Heavenly Gate spread throughout the world.
Tianmen Cave runs from north to south, with a height of 131.5 meters, a width of 57 meters, and a depth of more than 60 meters. It rises from the ground to the sky, like a portal to the sky. After generations of accumulation, it has formed the unique and profound "Heavenly Culture" of Tianmen Mountain. "Tianmen spitting fog" and "Tianmen glow" are praised as rare sights and wonders in the world.
This cave can be seen from a distance in the urban area of ??Zhangjiajie.
Tianmen Cave is a paradise for the world’s aerobatic masters to challenge their limits.

It can be called a miracle of elevator engineering worldwide, and it is also another miracle of special transportation in the scenic spot. . Standing on the support and admiring the beautiful pictures on the cave wall, you will have a sense of pride that man can conquer the sky, which is very shocking.
6. Wingsuit flying platform
After coming out of the mountain lift, you will see a straight and steep mountain opposite with a small platform on it. It was a wingsuit flying platform. If you are lucky enough to catch someone performing an air show, you are truly lucky.
Wingsuit flying, also known as "back jumping", is one of the craziest extreme sports in the world.
In 2013, in a thrilling wingsuit flight challenge performance, an American wingsuit successfully crossed the Tianmen Cave, setting an extreme flight record in human history.
The most recent hot search for wingsuit flying in Tianmen Mountain was on May 12 last year, the anniversary of the Wenchuan earthquake. Two wingsuit pilots performed high-altitude wingsuit flight in Tianmen Mountain. A senior girl named Liu lost contact after deviating from the route and was confirmed dead eight days later.
7. Yunmeng Jueding
The highest peak of Tianmen Mountain is "Yunmeng Jueding". It is the commanding height of Tianmen Mountain and the core attraction on the east line. Standing on the top of Yunmengjue, you have a commanding view and a broad view. Looking around, you can watch the sunrise over the red mountains in the morning, watch the sunset over the molten gold, and have a panoramic view of all the scenic spots in Fangyuan.
“Under the feet of the clouds, you can see all the strange peaks, and everything is in your eyes.” This is the wonderful artistic conception of Yunmengjue.

9. Tianmenshan Temple
After walking along the Ghost Valley Plank Road, you will arrive at the Tianjie Buddhist Country Scenic Area. The main attraction is Tianmenshan Temple.
Tianmenshan Temple was built in the Tang Dynasty and has been popular since its completion. There is a seven-level pagoda outside the temple, which is hidden among the green branches and leaves, making it quaint and quiet. Devoted men and women went to the temple to worship Buddha. Bells rang in the sky, drums shook the mountains, and incense smoke curled up like clouds. The lintel of the ancient temple is engraved with the four characters "Tianmen Fairy Mountain", and the couplets on both sides of the gate are: "There is a sky outside the sky that never turns night, and there is no mountain on the mountain that is the only one."

Li Na, a Henan female singer who became popular all over the country in the 1990s. She sang the interlude "Bitter Fence" of "Fences, Women and Dogs", the ending theme of "Desire" "A Good Man Lives in Peace", the theme song of "Zhao Shangzhi" "Sister-in-law Ode", the theme song of "Kong Fansen" "Into Tibet", " The theme song "Qinghai-Tibet Plateau" of "The Road to Heaven" is a beautiful memory of an entire generation, and no one can match it to this day.
Just when Li Na's career was at its peak, she came to Tianmen Mountain for a visit. Seeing the strange mountains, clear waters, and simple people here, she decided to retire to Tianmen Mountain. She designed and spent a lot of money to build a wooden house and moved her residence here.
When Li Na climbed Tianmen Mountain, she seemed to be enlightened by the mysterious power, which made her suddenly enlightened and converted to Buddhism.

Warm reminder: Zhangjiajie’s tourist beauty should be unique in China. The Tianmen Mountain Forest Park introduced today is located in the south of Zhangjiajie. To the north is a more beautiful and interesting China’s first national forest park - Zhangjiajie Forest Park (Wulingyuan Scenic Area). Make sure you don’t get it wrong. oh.
Just as I was writing this short article, I found a hot list post on the Internet that "Avatar" is popular again, claiming that it has topped the box office again. What will the repeat of "Avatar" ten years ago bring to Zhangjiajie? Ten years ago, movie fans all knew that many scenes in "Avatar" were shot in Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie.
