1. Akagra Park This park is the largest national park in Rwanda, named after the Akagra River passes through it. There are three landforms in the park: grassland, mountain and wetland lake, so you can run wild to your heart's content. In addition to all kinds of low plants, there are many wild animals in the park, and antelope pass by from time to time. You can also see a large group of buffalo, giraffe, zebra and other animals passing through the grassland, and there will be elephants drinking water by the lake. In a word, it's spectacular. It's a pity that I didn't bring my drone, otherwise the scenery would be even more shocking.
Opening hours: 06:00- 18:00.
Admission price: $50 (foreign tourists)
Tips: When shooting wild animals, please be sure to turn off the flash, and don't disturb, intimidate or throw food at animals to prevent them from being frightened and responding to attacks. Littering is prohibited in the protected area.
2. Although Lake Kivu has seen many lakes, it is still beautiful. The whole lake is surrounded by mountains, and the clouds around the mountains are very fairyland. The lake is crystal clear, and I really can't help wanting a drink. Sunset is not to be missed, and the favorite is the bonfire lit at night. Others think that sitting around singing and chatting, do as the Romans do.
Opening hours: 24 hours
Ticket price: free.
Tips: It is not allowed to photograph people, houses and livestock. If tourists want to shoot, they'd better say hello first to avoid being stoned, hanged or beaten.
3. Newway National Park is rugged, but everywhere it looks is green. Only birds and monkeys can be heard here. This is definitely an exotic peach blossom garden. Passing through the quiet and vast forest is a neat and green tea garden, as if crossing. However, the biggest feature of the park is to track chimpanzees in the jungle, but be careful of the little monkeys that suddenly appear. Although cute, friends who are easily frightened should pay attention.
Opening hours: 24 hours
Ticket price: 750 ~ 1500
Tips: Be sure to wear long-sleeved trousers, one is to prevent ultraviolet rays, and the other is to prevent mosquito bites.
4. Kigali Kigali is the capital of Rwanda and can be said to be the cleanest city in Africa. Moreover, Kigali is a world-famous summer resort, and the climate is very cool. Babies who are afraid of heat should take notes carefully. Kigali is small, but it is composed of several hills, with lush trees and fragrant flowers and fruits, which breaks people's inherent impression of Africa.
Opening hours: 24 hours
Ticket price: free.
Tips: If you come from or have been in a country where yellow fever is prevalent, you need to provide a yellow fever vaccination certificate when you enter Rwanda. The recommended vaccines are hepatitis A and typhoid fever, and vaccines in non-yellow fever countries should also be considered. Malaria is spreading all over Rwanda, and preventive measures are strongly recommended to avoid infection.
