Xunxian Temple Fair Xunxian Temple Fair
At the temple fair, tourists feasted their eyes, and the three of them piled up stilts, lion dances, drums, yangko, dry boats and other colorful folk social fire performances. With the theme of "visiting temple fairs in the first month, worshiping the Buddha in Xunxian, celebrating the traditional New Year, and appreciating the folk customs of the Central Plains", the county party committee and government of Xunxian held 10 activities, such as Quyi performance, exhibition of fine handicrafts of the Central Plains, blessing ceremony, auspicious lantern festival, and seminar on folk culture of the Central Plains, which were well received by the masses. Xunxian Temple Fair is a Han folk entertainment activity that integrates folk art, religious belief, material exchange and cultural entertainment.
On the first day of the first month of each year, the temple fairs in Daxian and Qiu Fu in Xun County will be grandly opened for one month. The climax of the activity is from the ninth day to Dongshan, and from the sixteenth day to Nanshan, which is Qiu Fu. The 16th day of the first month is the climax of ancient temple fairs. On this day, the folk fire brigade and some art performance groups walked on stilts, played lions, danced dragons, ran dry boats, played acrobatics, sang operas, played gongs and drums, and were very lively, forming a very beautiful cultural landscape in the Central Plains. At that time, businessmen will go to the fair, and the crowds will be like a tide, which is an excellent opportunity to observe the simple folk customs in northern Henan. Xunxian ancient temple fair is known as "the first ancient temple fair in North China" and has a history of more than 1000 years. In the Henan folk classics, the first batch of Henan "time-honored brands" and the first batch of Henan ancient and modern residential buildings protection list (publicity list), the Dadaishan ancient temple fair was included in the "Henan folk classics" publicity list. Due to its long duration and large scale, Jin Kui Dashan Temple Fair was announced by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Finance as "China National Folk Culture Protection Project". In the first month of every year, a large number of domestic and foreign tourists come to visit the ancient temple fair. 1000 years ago, it has been the center of religious culture and entertainment activities in the surrounding areas. Therefore, the ancient temple fair in the first month was huge, lasting for more than a month, and the daily passenger flow exceeded 200,000.
Looking at Daishan and Dave Road from Nanshan,
Although it is the fifth grade, it is already crowded.
When I was a child, I was familiar with red tassels and broadswords. Adults often take this back to their children when they go to temple fairs. This time, I found that there were very few sales at the temple fair.
The children were attracted by Ultraman's electric toys.
Noodles are the most famous in Jiaxian County, but at the ancient temple fair in Xunxian County, several of them were sold together, and the business was quite good because of the "leverage principle".
Noodles, called "River Leak" in ancient times, are also called "Huoluo". Legend has it that during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Kangxi appointed a special person to make a statistical report on the national flavor snacks, and "River Leak" was also reported as one of them. One day, when Kangxi was looking for famous food, he saw the "River Leak", which attracted people's attention because of its strange name, and ordered people to do it well. After eating it, I admired its unique flavor. But because the homonym of the name "Helou" is not in harmony with river regulation, I am not happy, so I changed the name "Helou" to "Lehe".
Not many people have heard of Mozi, and even fewer have eaten it. "Zi" is a stone, because the pot is filled with smooth round stones. After simmering, pour the eggs on the hot stone and cook them with a knife. After eating it, Mozi became a special food in Xun County.
But in fact, Mozi flourished at the crossroads in the early years. Later, because of the reputation of Xunxian Temple Fair, Mozi settled here. Nanguanwai Street and Frye Road have two businesses all year round and can be eaten at any time.
The statue at the entrance of Nanshan Old Milk Hall has been slipped by many pilgrims.
