Guizhou Tourism Preferential Policies in 2022

Guiyang’s 40 major scenic spots have implemented a free ticket policy for high school students graduating in 2022, and the Nanjiang Grand Canyon and Taoyuan River Canyon also have certain discounts in rafting and other aspects.

Bijie is one of the best areas for summer vacation in Guizhou. There are large scenic spots such as Zhijin Cave, Baili Rhododendron, Weining Caohai, Youshan River, and Jiudongtian. Before August 31, students across the country will have a free ticket policy for visiting all scenic spots in Bijie (excluding hot spring scenic spots and franchised projects in scenic spots). Graduates who take the college entrance examination this year can enjoy free tickets before September 30.

In July this year, Zhijin Cave became the ninth 5A-level scenic spot in Guizhou. Since then, Zhijin Cave has launched a preferential tourism policy. From July to December 31, Zhijin Cave offers a 50% discount on tickets to tourists from all over the country. In addition, the camping projects at Jiudongtian and Youshanhe also have certain discounts for high school graduates.

Qiandongnan Prefecture is the area with the highest concentration of ethnic villages in Guizhou. This year, the main preferential policies introduced by Qiandongnan Prefecture are: (1) Citizens of Foshan and Hangzhou who assist the development of Southeast Guizhou will implement a ticket-free policy when visiting scenic spots in the prefecture; (2) Guizhou Excellent Talent Card holders and their accompanying persons (the total number of people shall not exceed 6), a ticket-free policy will be implemented; (3) a ticket-free policy will be implemented for medical and health experts aiding Guizhou and their accompanying relatives; (4) a ticket-free policy will be implemented for advanced individuals mobilized for national defense in Guizhou Province. All ticket-free policies are for tickets and do not include franchised items such as rafting, hot springs, etc.

As for scenic spots, let’s first talk about the preferential policies of Xijiang Miao Village and _De Miao Village. From July 26, 2022 to September 30, 2022, Guizhou tourists can visit Langde Miao Village for free after purchasing the scenic area of ??Xijiang Miao Village. Guizhou tourists who purchase tickets to De Miao Village first and then visit Xijiang Miao Village can enjoy a 50% discount on tickets.
