Chengde Xinglong Mountain Scenic Area is located in Maike Village, Dashuiquan Township, Xinglong County, Chengde City, Hebei Province. The planned area is about 38 square kilometers, and the core area is 14.7 square kilometers. It is built according to the national standard of 5A-level tourist attractions.

The main projects in the first phase include Baimachuan Ecological Parking Lot, tourist transfer center, cliff plank road, sightseeing cable car, suspended restaurant, 100-meter elevator, escalator, 226-meter glass bridge, waterscape building, cliff stone carving and so on.

Xinglong Mountain Scenic Area is famous for its unique topography and rich landscape resources, with "strange peaks, strange rocks, beautiful waters and secluded valleys". Canyon and stream crisscross, forming a natural landscape corridor. Walking in the mountains, beautiful scenery and quiet villages blend harmoniously.

There are strange peaks and rocks in the scenic area, and the geological structure is complex. The surrounding mountains are undulating and ravines are criss-crossing. Xinglong Mountain Scenic Area has a 98-meter-high vertical sightseeing elevator and a 226-meter-long fully transparent glass bridge. Even the cableway in the scenic spot is all-glass design, which can have a 360-degree panoramic view. The inclined length of the gantry cableway is 1 000m, and the height difference is1.80m. Each hanging box can take 8 people, and 70% of them are imported equipment. It provides a safe, comfortable and fast way to climb.

The glass bridge is suspended at an altitude of 650 meters, with a total length of 226 meters and three observation platforms with a width of 6 meters. The whole project adopts imported materials, and the bridge deck is paved with transparent glass, which is an all-glass bridge.

Sightseeing elevator adopts full exposure operation mode. The elevator is 98 meters high and 30 stories high, giving you a panoramic view. You can easily reach the top of the mountain and have a panoramic view of Xinglong Mountain.
