Changchun Lianhuashan Eco-tourism Resort is a provincial-level development zone approved by Jilin Provincial Party Committee and Government in September 20 10, and it is one of the five development zones directly under Changchun Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government.

Located in the east of Changchun City, it is connected with Changchun City and Jilin City, with a planned control area of 4 17 square kilometers and an actual jurisdiction area of 362 square kilometers. It governs 26 administrative villages with a total population of 50,000.

In April 2007, the Jilin provincial government approved the establishment of "Lianhuashan Eco-tourism Resort in Changchun", and in June 2008, 10, the Changchun municipal government listed Lianhuashan as "the pilot area for the development and opening up of Northeast China".
