Hongya Cave, formerly known as Hongya Gate, is one of the ancient Chongqing city gates. It is located on the Jialing River Binjiang, Yuzhong District, Chongqing. No. 88 Road, in 2003, a total investment of 385 million yuan was made to demolish and reconstruct the old city of Hongyadong area. It was completed and opened in September 2006.
