2023 Malaysia Tourist Visa Type+Processing Process+Fees

Individual tourists are required to hold personal passports and valid visas in Malaysia, and can stay in Malaysia for 30 days at a time. If they transit Malaysia to a third country, they can apply for free transit visas at two airports in Kuala Lumpur (KLIA and LCCT), and the stay time of transit visas is five days. If you stay in Malaysia for more than 5 days, you need to apply for a visa on arrival, and the fee is 330 Malaysian ringgit (about 600 yuan RMB). You can do it at LCCT airport, and you only need 200 yuan RMB to apply for a visa in China. It is recommended that such a friend apply for a visa in China before departure!

1, visa processing in Malaysia

Visitors to Malaysia are required to hold a valid passport with a personal validity of at least 6 months and a valid Malaysian visa with a validity of 3 months and a one-time stay of 30 days.

1) information needed to apply for a visa at the embassy or consulate.

2. Malaysia Transit Pass.

Since August 10, China citizens still enjoy visa-free transit in Malaysia.

Conditions for obtaining a "transit visa" in Malaysia:

Holding a China passport, the passport must be valid for more than 6 months at the time of application

You can only apply at two airports in Kuala Lumpur (KLIA and LCCT).

Take the "Country A-Malaysia" flight to Malaysia.

Stay in Malaysia for no more than 5 days.

Leave Malaysia with a "Malaysia-Country B" ticket (you don't have to leave Malaysia from the city where you arrive).

Handling fee: free of charge.

Stay time: 5 days (including two days of arrival and departure). Note that the transit visa is definitely not 120 hours or 72 hours! Five days.

Malaysia transit visa processing flow

(1) On the plane, fill out a triple Malaysian "white card", including the entry form, exit form and customs declaration form and sign it (the visa officer who handles the transit visa will check the exit card).

(2) After getting off the plane, take the elevator with the crowd to the entry-exit hall on the second floor. In front of the elevator, you will see a yellow light box sign, which says immigration hall in English and Chinese below, and walk along the red line.

(3) You can clearly see the red BUREAUDECHANGE sign (the foreign exchange office of BankIslam), next door to the right is a counter window of the border inspection and immigration bureau (facing a row of entry counters), next to which is a note with the words "VISAONARRIVAL", and there are several rows of chairs in front of the counter.

(4) Give him the printed ticket for the next flight (note: it is a ticket to a third country, such as Indonesia. Don't give him all the tickets, or you will be asked a lot of avoidable questions, such as where you are from and where you are going), passport and immigration form, tell the staff that you need a "transit visa", and then wait in the chair outside.

(5) After waiting for 5- 10 minutes, the staff will call your Chinese name and get your passport. The transit visa is free.

(6) queue up at the "foreign passport entry counter" and pass the border inspection. Please note that unless there is an emergency, notify the police on duty, otherwise you can't go to the Malaysian immigration counter and you will be stopped!

(7) Go down to the first floor to get your luggage.

(8) Baggage and carry-on baggage shall be inspected by the customs X-ray machine and handed over to the customs declaration form.

3. Passport

The first thing to do when going abroad is to apply for a passport.

Note: Passport is a legal document issued by a country to prove the nationality and identity of its citizens when they enter and leave the country and travel or stay abroad.

Taking Beijing residents as an example, the following are the specific procedures for handling passports.

(1) Bring my ID card or household registration book to the local police station, the exit-entry administration department of the Public Security Bureau, the exit-entry administration department of the Beijing Public Security Bureau or the tour group travel agency to receive the Approval Form for China Citizens Going Abroad for Private Purposes (hereinafter referred to as the Application Form).

(2) Fill in the application form.

(3) submit an application. When submitting an application, you must bring the following materials
