Where was the China Scholarship Association established?

At the initiative of China visiting scholars from all over South Korea, the Friendship Association of China Visiting Scholars in South Korea was formally established recently in Seoul, South Korea. This is the first national association established by visiting scholars from China in foreign countries. In the future, it will build a service, exchange, mutual assistance and management platform for Korean scholars visiting China, and enhance the in-depth cooperation between China and South Korea in the fields of education and scientific research.

Ai Hongge, Education Counselor of China Embassy in Korea, Gudas Mu, President of All-Korea China Scholars Association, and President of All-Korea China Professors Association delivered congratulations respectively. Counselor Ai Hongge said that the Embassy attached great importance to the academic and educational exchanges between China and South Korea and expressed heartfelt congratulations on the establishment of the Friendship Association. At the same time, he hopes that the Friendship Association will play a bridge role, unite visiting scholars from Korea and China, provide better services for everyone, build a first-class platform, and make positive contributions to promoting the development of China-ROK relations.

The Council of the Association was elected by members through democratic voting, and the first Council composed of seven directors was elected in this election. President Chang Lu (Shandong University-Seoul National University), Chairman Chen Peng (Nankai University-Seoul National University), Vice President Gao Hailong (Hebei Provincial Public Security Department-Mingji University), Secretary General Liu Zhifeng (Xi International Studies University-Sungkyunkwan University), Chairman of Academic Working Committee Ping Xu (Jilin University-Seoul National University), Chairman of Propaganda Working Committee Li Nan (China Communication University-Seoul National University), Chairman of Organizing Activities Working Committee.

China South China Visiting Scholars Association is a national mass organization for visiting scholars from South Korea and the first national mass organization established by visiting scholars from China abroad. The main members of the Association are Korean scholars and postdoctoral researchers who are visiting China. Through various forms of academic exchanges, mutual assistance in work, life guidance and cultural and sports activities, it aims to serve visiting scholars in Korea and China, build a platform for academic exchanges, work cooperation and mutual assistance in life, reserve high-level talents who understand Korea for the country, and gather strength to promote the development of academic education in China and South Korea.

It is understood that at present, the China Friendship Association of Visiting Scholars in South Korea has 36 full members, from 26 universities, research institutes and government agencies in China, and is conducting visiting research in 6 universities in South Korea/KLOC-0.

There are no eternal enemies between countries, only eternal interests.
