Dali to Kunming Dali → Kunming

Bus: There are buses to Kunming at several passenger stations in Dali. Different models and times have different prices. 111-137 yuan is about 4-5 hours.

Xiaguan North Bus Station, shuttle bus location: Yuhua Road, Xiaguan, 9:00- 17:00 every day, every hour.

Xiaguan Express Passenger Station, the bus stop is at the intersection of Huancheng Road and Longxi Road (Nanjian Road 1No.), and it runs every 07:30- 19:00 15-30 minutes.

Kunming → Dali

Bus: Most buses take 7 hours by car, or you can take bus go to dali at Kunming West Bus Station. The journey takes about 4-5 hours, and the fare is 100- 150 yuan.

Kunming to Dali

Train: There are 5 buses every day, and the fastest one leaves at noon for 5 hours. The fare is about 100 yuan. Others take seven or eight hours, and the fare is around 60 yuan. From Kunming to Dali, get off and take bus No.8 to the ancient city.

Plane: The flight from Kunming to Dali takes only 50 minutes, so there is a big difference in ticket prices between the off-season and the peak season. It takes 1 hour from Kunming to Changshui Airport and 1 hour from Dali Airport to Dali Ancient City. Plus the waiting time, it will take about 4 hours. The transfer and waiting time exceeds the flight time, and there are few flights. It is not recommended to take.

Round-trip self-driving between the two places: about 3 hours by car. Others go directly from Dali Expressway, which has just been opened to traffic (Dali's previous export Fengyi was inserted into Dali Expressway). If you take Dali Expressway, you can go to geothermal state, Dali and Eryuan to soak in hot springs and then start to play around Erhai Lake.

Around Kunming, you must experience 1. Overlooking Dianchi Lake in Xishan, then take the aerial ropeway to Haitang Park to feed the red-billed gull.
