Extended information:

Entering Zhongshan Park in the urban area, behind the left side of the original city museum (red brick building), you can see a newly-built "Datong Bogong Temple", which covers an area of about 2 square meters and has a single-storey building structure. At the entrance of the temple, there is a gourd-shaped stove for worshippers to burn.

"Bo Gong" comes from the custom of Chaoshan people, and it is believed that worshipping Bo Gong can achieve the goal of peace and success, so some citizens worship Bo Gong. If you walk in the streets and alleys of the city, you will occasionally see some small Bogong temples, which are mostly built by folk worshippers. Sometimes, if the city is in a hurry, it will organize urban management personnel to dismantle them. The management is loose, and the unconscious admirers start to build again.
