What will Lintong National Resort look like in the future?

On June 23rd, 2009, the Standing Committee of Xi Municipal Committee deliberated and adopted the Implementation Plan for the Planning and Construction of Xi Lintong National Tourism and Leisure Resort, and the research resolution was that Xi Qujiang New District Management Committee and Lintong District Government would cooperate to develop and construct Xi Lintong National Tourism and Leisure Resort. On March 20 10, Qujiang New District Management Committee sent a construction and development team to Lintong to join hands with Lintong District Government to launch "Building Lintong National Tourism and Leisure Resort". According to the implementation plan, Lintong National Resort is located in the northeast of Xi City and the southwest of Lintong District, with an area of 27.33 square kilometers, bounded by expressway in the north and expressway in the west. The southern boundary starts from beacon tower in the east and reaches Hong Qing ditch in the west, and is bounded by the ridge lines of Baijiashan, Guoli, Lugong, Sanzhao, Wang Jun, Xiaoyu and Majia's Lishan shallow mountain. The west is bounded by the administrative division of Lintong Baqiao; East is bounded by Lintong Huancheng East Road and the ridge line connecting the beacon tower at the southern end of Huancheng East Road.

Lintong National Resort will be built into an internationally influential tourist destination integrating cultural tourism, leisure and holiday, health care, spa treatment, trade and exhibition in accordance with the principles of combining ecological construction with improving living environment and people's living standards, combining government leadership with market operation, combining cultural tourism development with regional urbanization development, and combining scenic heritage protection with construction and development, and becoming a new international brand of Shaanxi and tourism.

The construction of Lintong Resort will be driven by major projects and five-year three-step strategy. According to the spatial layout of "One Heart, One Belt, Four Districts and Five Grains" and the development idea of "culture first, tourism first and ecology first", we will build a world-class tourist destination under the guidance of scientific development and highlighting people's livelihood. After the completion of the resort, it will completely change the urban appearance and tourism environment of Lintong area, promote the social and economic development of Lintong area to a new level, promote Lintong to become the eastern leader of Guanzhong-Tianshui economic circle, and become a medium-and large-scale demonstration project for Xi to build an international metropolis.
