Fugu county tourist attractions

One of the tourist attractions in Fugu County is Shenlong Mountain, the other is Zhitong Temple in Liyuan Mountain, and the third is the ancient city of Fuzhou. Fuzhou Ancient City is the most intact stone city in the north of China, and it is also a national key cultural relic protection unit. The existing ancient city was built in the early Ming Dynasty.

I. Shenlong Mountain

Shenlongshan Scenic Area is the remnant vein of Daba Mountain, and its main peak is located in the south of Guang 'an New Town, with a relative height of 8 1 m, which is the highest point in the city and only 1.5 km from the city center. It is named after its steep peaks, winding like a dragon and flying around. It was once a fortress of Cuba. Because of its shape, it is called "Xifeng Village" or "Snake Dragon Mountain". Deng Xiaoping and other outstanding figures were born in Guang 'an. In order to commemorate them, people spontaneously renamed it "Shenlong Mountain".

2. Zhitong Temple in Liyuan Mountain

Zhitong Temple in Liyuan Mountain, Fugu County, Shaanxi Province is located on the edge of the ancient Great Wall. But as long as people observe it carefully, they will find that when the Great Wall passes through this temple, it turns around a big bend, like a plow shaft of cultivated land, so it is named Liyuan Mountain Zhitong Temple.

Zhitong Temple in Liyuan Mountain has been presided over for generations. Due to the loss of temple records and local chronicles, it is not clear that the known host is the 27th generation descendant of Lin Ji, who is called the Six Generations of Western Monks in this temple. When he was old, he chose the next generation of monks to preside over monasteries, then traveled to various Buddhist temples to give lectures and occasionally sat in Qingyun Mountain in Yulin. His successor, Dakong, the 28th abbot of Zen Forest, is also known as Yushan Monk. His practice is very high, and he knows the way of Zen, as evidenced by a huge plaque with complete merits. He is a generation of eminent monks. In the early days of liberation, Wu Ran, a master of Xiangshan Temple in Hequ County, Shanxi Province, spent a hundred days in Zhitong Temple, passing through soldiers killed in the war, and then went to Haibao Buddhist Temple in Yinchuan, Ningxia to practice. Now he is a clean mage and died on February 7, 2006.

Three. Fuzhou ancient city

Fuzhou is a famous ancient military fortress in northern Shaanxi, located in the east of Fugu Town, Fugu County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. Historically, it was a battleground for military strategists of Song, Liao, Xixia and Jin. The city wall was built in the Five Dynasties and the later Tang Dynasty. It was repaired many times in the Northern Song Dynasty and has been in use ever since. It is the best preserved Shicheng in the north of China and a national key cultural relic protection unit.

Fuzhou city is built on the rocky mountain ridge on the north bank of the Yellow River, with steep terrain. Historically, it was a battleground for military strategists of Song, Liao, Xixia and Jin. The city wall is built on the mountain, roughly in the shape of boots, with a circumference of 2320 meters. * * * Four doors and two small doors, with towers (now destroyed) on the doors, including crocks outside the south gate and the small west gate. There are Confucian Temple, City God Temple, Wenchang Pavilion, Guandi Temple, Shrine, Ronghe Academy, Thousand Buddha Cave, Niangniang Temple, Hanging Temple and other buildings in the city. Except that the city walls were built in the Five Dynasties and the Song Dynasty, the rest were built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
