1, Confucius sees the sea
During the Spring and Autumn Period, Confucius climbed this mountain to see the East China Sea. In memory of him, people renamed this mountain the Empty King Mountain. On this mountain, there are not only the footprints of Confucius, the founder of Confucianism, but also the earliest Buddhist grottoes in China, engraved with the solemn scene of Sakyamuni, and the statue of the Taoist empress dowager overlooking all beings.
2. Buddhist cliff statues
Cliff statues were made in the Eastern Han Dynasty nearly two thousand years ago. The whole statue is carved according to the natural shape of the cliff. At present, there are 1 10 statues, with a length of17m and a height of 8m. There are figures such as Buddha, Tao, Bodhisattva, Lux and his benefactor, which mostly reflect the original story of Sakyamuni and the story of Buddhism. Historians call this statue "the first statue of Kyushu Cliff Buddha". Its carving age is 300 years earlier than Dunhuang Grottoes. 1988 was rated as a national cultural relics protection unit.
3. Stone statues
Completed in the Eastern Han Dynasty. This is a three-dimensional circular sculpture, carved according to the natural shape of granite boulders. It is 480 cm long, 350 cm wide on the back and 260 cm high. On the left side of the elephant's chest, there is a flat bas-relief "elephant slave", with its head tied in a bun, a hook in its right hand and a chain on its feet, which represents the elephant drama scene in the Han Dynasty. Stone elephant carved lotus petals, lifelike, known as "the first elephant in China."
4. Inscription in Longdong
Longdong was originally a submarine cave, which was excavated by later generations after years of seawater erosion. The hole is square, with a side length of 90 cm and a depth of 330 cm. There are 24 stone carvings of the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties carved on the stone walls inside and outside Longdong Cave. The big characters are nearly 3 feet, and the small characters are more than an inch. Seal script, official script, cursive script and running script are complete. Among them, the two most famous inscriptions on the east and west sides of Longdong are Wang Tong seal cutting and Lin Shoushu inscription.
5, stone toad
Opposite the north and south of the stone statue is an endless mountain plain. It was carved by a rock protruding from the ground through a circle in the Han Dynasty. Toad is about 2 meters long and 1 meter wide, and its body is covered with shallow carved patterns like fish scales. Its abdomen is complete, its limbs are flat and its shape is very exaggerated. It is a relic of the Eastern Han Dynasty, and it has been nearly 2000 years now.
The stone engraved with fonts looks like a huge inkstone, so it is also called "inkstone". It is carved on a natural stone, 320 cm long from east to west, 200 cm wide and 70- 120 cm thick. The bottom of the big stone is supported by three small stones, and there is a disc-shaped concave sculpture in the east section of the front, surrounded by eight cup-shaped concave sculptures. It was a sacrifice to the monarch of the East China Sea at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty.
6. Stone carving of cups and plates
Founded in Song Dynasty, destroyed in Yuan Dynasty and rebuilt in 1989. Zhang Qianting, named after Zhang Qian's fairy tales, is a place where ancient literati went to see the sea. Su Dongpo, a great poet in the Song Dynasty, visited here and wrote a poem "Chengcha Pavilion", which made the pavilion famous in Jianghuai area.
7. Take the tea kiosk as an example.
Longdong Temple, with its back to the high mountain, faces south and is hidden among the pines and cypresses. Wuping in Beiqi was founded more than 400 years ago. Longxing temple in Tang Dynasty and Longdong Temple in Ming Dynasty. The temple is dedicated to Sakyamuni and his disciples Ye Jia, Nuo and Guanyin Bodhisattva. There are ancient and famous trees such as Cooper and glutinous rice tea (tassels) in the hospital, all of which are over a thousand years old. There is also the ancient well "Ganlu Spring", which is famous for its clear and sweet water.
8. Longdong Temple
Located at the top of Kongwang Mountain overlooking the mountains, it is used by Taoist alchemists in Taoism. There is a gap in the upper left corner for Taoist priests to collect dew. Its huge scale is very rare in China. It was the first emperor in China who used it for three years.
