How can Beijing and Zhangjia work together to create a cultural and sports tourism belt for the Winter Olympics?

On June 27th, BOCOG held a seminar on the economic development strategy of the Winter Olympics in Shougang office area to discuss how the preparations for the Winter Olympics can promote the development of cities and regions. Experts attending the meeting said that according to the layout of the main competition area and its radiation area of the 2022 Winter Olympics, the industrial spatial development layout of "One Belt, Three Axes, Three Cores, Multi-Nodes and Multi-Zones" led by Beijing urban area can be constructed, and the cultural and sports tourism industrial belt of Beijing, Dongao and Dongao can be built to give play to the driving role of the Winter Olympics in the regional economy and form a well-defined and sustainable industrial system.

The Winter Olympics economy can build four core industries.

Beijing Winter Olympics is not only a major international event, but also a great opportunity to promote the development of Beijing, especially Yanqing and Zhangjiakou. Experts suggest that we should seize this opportunity, make overall plans for post-games demand and utilization, and closely integrate the preparations for ice and snow sports such as venues and infrastructure construction, event service guarantee, publicity and popularization with urban construction, so as to promote the development of ice and snow sports, leisure tourism, green energy and other industries and promote the employment of the masses. Through ecological environment management, public service promotion and other work, the industrial development environment in Beijing-Zhangjiakou area will be optimized in a larger scope to realize the Winter Olympics.

Experts believe that we should give full play to the driving role of Beijing Winter Olympics in regional economy, co-ordinate relevant regional resources, promote regional cooperation, focus on core industries, speed up the cultivation of related industries, and gradually form an industrial system of "4 (core industries include ice and snow industry, sports industry, cultural tourism industry and health industry) +2 (related industries include new energy industry and modern agriculture) +2 (traditional industries include mining industry and traditional manufacturing industry)" of the Winter Olympics economy.

The spatial layout of winter Olympics industry has been formed.

According to the layout of Beijing Winter Olympics and its radiation areas, we can build an industrial spatial layout of "one belt, three axes, three cores, multiple nodes and multiple zones" dominated by Beijing urban area. According to Yuan, director of the Economic Research Department of China International Economic Exchange Center, the "belt" is the Beijing-Dong Zhang Olympic cultural, sports and tourism industrial belt, which runs from Mentougou District in the west of Beijing to Yanqing District in the north, connecting counties and districts in Zhangjiakou City and extending to the northwest to form a belt-shaped industrial development area.

The "three axes" are the three east-west industrial development axes formed by the main traffic passages such as expressway in the north, middle and south of Beijing-Dongao Industrial Belt and high-speed rail. Among them, the north axis is the area along Yanchong Expressway, creating a development zone of ice and snow sports, culture and sports and tourism industry with the main competition area of the Winter Olympics as the key area; The "Central Axis" extends from Beijing downtown along Beijing-Tibet Expressway (G6) and Beijing-Xinjiang Expressway (G7), and passes through Changping District and Huailai County, creating an industrial belt with cultural tourism, sports and equipment manufacturing, and modern agriculture as the main industries. The "South Axis" runs from Beijing downtown to the west, passes through Shijingshan District and Mentougou District, and bypasses Zhangshi expressway and Zhuolu County of Zhangjiakou City along Jingwei Tourist Highway, creating an industrial belt of historical and cultural tourism, modern agriculture and green agricultural products.

In addition, the "three cores" are the main competition area of Beijing, Yanqing District and Chongli District of Zhangjiakou City. "Multi-node" includes Yanqing District, Mentougou District, Chongli District, Zhangbei County, Huailai County, Zhangjiakou City, shangyi county, Zhuolu County and Yuxian County of Zhangjiakou City. "Multi-zone" is a major high-tech park, economic development zone and other key industrial parks, which are laid out along three axes.

Organizing the Winter Olympics will help the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.

According to Han Zirong, Secretary-General of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, the Winter Olympics economy has always been the focus of the preparations for the Winter Olympics, and it has been incorporated into the coordinated development plan of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" of Beijing and Hebei Province, and has been solidly promoted.

In the next step, BOCOG will further closely integrate the preparatory work with regional development, so as to prepare for the Winter Olympics and promote coordinated development, so as to coordinate development and ensure the preparations for the Winter Olympics.

Han Zirong said that in the future, it will speed up the construction of transportation infrastructure such as Beijing-Zhangjia high-speed railway and Yanchong expressway, and build an interconnected transportation network in Beijing-Zhangjia area to facilitate people's exchanges between the two places while serving the traffic of the Winter Olympics; Strengthen the joint prevention and control of ecological environment, intensify the work of gas control, water control and sand control, and continuously improve the ecological environment in Beijing-Zhangjia area; Promote the complementary and mutual promotion of industrial development, build a Beijing-Zhangjia sports and cultural tourism belt, and promote the employment of people in Yanqing and Zhangjiakou areas; Upgrade and enjoy * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *.
