The planning scope of the park includes Ginkgo Grand View Garden in Linqing and ancient pear orchards, ancient apricot orchards and old apple orchards in surrounding villages such as Ruth, Yaopo and Xue Dian. It is a concentrated distribution area of the collective forest of the old Yellow River in Linqing City. The park is located in the southwest of Linqing 10 km, between Linguan Highway (S260) and Linguan Highway (S3 15), covering an area of more than 3,000 hectares. The planned boutique park covers an area of 800 hectares, and the forest coverage rate in this area reaches 82%. The overall planning of Linqing Ancient Shazhou Forest Park is a tourism pattern of "one park, one belt and four districts". Pear tree is one of the characteristic plants in Linqing Ancient Shazhou Forest Park. There are 320 hectares of pear trees and more than 23,000 ancient pear trees in the park, which are distributed around Zi Ying Village. Among them, the ancient pear trees are distributed on the sand dunes in the southeast of Zi Ying Village, covering an area of about 40 hectares. There are more than 20 pear varieties such as Yali, Su Xiang, Hongwan Liquor, Jiuwuxiang and Wansanji. The original barracks and Dianjiangtai sites in the park still exist, and the ancient barracks culture can be used for tourism.

Apricot trees in Xinglin Scenic Area of Yaopo are also one of the characteristic plants in Linqing Ancient Shazhou Forest Park, and the ancient apricot trees are concentrated in the southwest of Yaopo Village. Old school ruins in ancient Xinglin; Zhang Donghuai, the founder of Yaopo Village, can make full use of the development of tourism projects. The main functions of the scenic spot are ancient apricot trees, Xinglin martial arts school viewing, apricot fruit picking and "elbow" martial arts experience.
